"A beautiful place to get your sushi or hibachi fix in the north. Sushi Omakase gives you three ways to dine: Hibachi Grill, Sushi Train or the dining room. Each look great and would be a fun time and great culinary experience. I love sushi – can eat it every night for dinner and am not a big fan of Hibachi Grills. I was with a big group of people sitting on the grill and ordered a few rolls - I know, pervers. The cook put a good show, typical fanfare with Bonfire flames, sizzling utensils, veggies and meat. But he missed my favorite part! The onion volcano – no biggie. He spent a lot of time, and many shrimps, they in the mouth of the hungry males. He tore about six of them, in a row, to a person, and he caught the middle three in a row! All-in-all a fun time. Since this review, the restaurant is still new and has some possibilities for small tweaks. Our chef cooked every part of the ducks in a row: rice, vegetables, then meat. This led to the rice that was cooked well before the meat, and when people got the meat, the rice was cold and the vegetables lukewarm. I recommend to get all ingredients on the grill at the same time, multitasking of cuisine, and the dishes together. Everyone was happy and said the dishes were nicely flavored. Until the sushi I ordered a medley of cooked and raw salmon, tuna and vegetable rolls. They were all well prepared – the chefs take their time to make rolls packed with seafood and vegetables, and keep their structure. A role above all was one I never saw: the Fantasy Roll, rolled with a cucumber! A really new idea that created a light, crisp and refreshing role that was delicious. The only thing is that you dexterous skills with chipsticks I don't. While the cutting rolls are presented on their sides, go to pick up one with clinks and the roll can be undone unless you have a Kung-Fu handle with the bars. No big deal because it is worth trying something new and unique. Overall, Sushi Omakase is a good place to get Japanese food, including sushi. They're new and they need people to give them a shot. The servers and managers take care of their patrons and work to ensure that all your culinary needs and expectations are met."
