"The restaurants along the Ohio river keep knocking it out of the park. Dined outdoors despite it being a bit cool. We wanted to watch the wood float by on the river. Started with a couple of apple cider old fashioned whiskeys. If we didn't have to drive home (2 hours) we would have had at least 4 more each. They were amazing. With beautiful little cinnamon sticks in the glass. Goat cheese pita dip was the selected appetizer. If you go here and don't order the goat cheese, everyone will know that you're stubborn and probably not very intelligent. I had the shrimp and grits for dinner. They used risotto as the grit portion and that made it a full on entree. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend. My lady diner had the smashed burger with the truffle fries. She thoroughly enjoyed the burger and I sampled the fries. Whatever the charge is for the truffle fries over a standard fry, find a way to cover that cost. Well worth any amount of money. The building is very nice and overlooks a nice section of the Ohio river. Staff was amazing and attentive and were also responsible for the delicious drinks. Thank you."

"Good food with okay service. Upon entry it feels like a standard sit down eat in restaurant but then the twist. For some reason they have you order at the counter, pay your ticket, grab your drink from the dispenser and sit down with a table tent. The server will bring your food and then wait your table like a normal experience. Not sure if they were having problems with dine and dash or just the servers not being able to take orders efficiently but it was odd. So when you walk in the have several menus on the counter for you to look at. It's a standard BBQ joint menu with all the regulars and nothing that jumps out. I went with the Three Meat Sampler and chose pulled pork, pork chop, and chicken. I also added potato salad and baked beans. The food took about average time to come out and was the expected temperature. The pulled pork was a tad bit dry/overcooked but had a good flavor and the spicy bbq sauce complimented it well. The chicken thighs were served boneless and seasoned well. They were dry in appearance but moist when eating them. The flavor was really good and when paired with the mustard sauce. The pork chop was the star of the show and would be what I order next time. The potato salad was good when I added some salt and pepper and the baked beans were heavy on the brown sugar and molasses but were good. Overall, I ain't mad and enjoyed my meal. I was craving a dessert at the end (not sure if they have any) but couldn't add it to the ticket and didn't want to wait in the line at the counter to order it. Side note: you can go sit at the bar and have a full service experience. The bartender seemed rather personable and kept everyone entertained while waiting on them. That'll probably be what I do next time."

"I am very happy with May, the owner, the food most important for me, their careful excellent Kovid precautions! This pandemic is not over yet, but everyone wants to breathe over my food while cooking serves it, which is why I only have a velvet good places and that is one of them! If you want to make sure that your food is well prepared by cooks that are sanitary careful, then this is the place! I love the owner too. She's a treasure! Can't wait to go back"

"We are visiting from Cincinnati Ohio and seen this place going to our hotel across the street. I think my favorite part was how awesome our server was. I believe the name was Micha. Very friendly and just all around the best server I’ve had anywhere! The food was great too!! We Will definitely be back whenever we come through again."

"Just tried this place for lunch today. It’s right around the corner from where I work, and I’m pretty bummed I am just now trying them for the first time. Had the OC Club and loaded potato salad. "The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, bringing us multiple refills, and she had a great sense of humor. However, the breadsticks, which aren't complimentary, could benefit from a bit more marinade. Additionally, the garlic sauce was somewhat oily, and the crushed bits at the bottom of the container were hard to reach. The portion sizes were generous, providing us with enough leftovers for later. The food was delicious, especially if you're a fan of Italian cuisine. While the prices were on the higher side, that's typical for this area where the cost often reflects the ambiance. I can only assume they have to cover higher real estate taxes or rent."

"Dinner took a long time and only 1/2 the food was ready when delivered for the fried chicken dinner. Was told by the waiter the other piece didn’t look good so they were remaking it. 30 minutes later the second piece was brought to the table. As it approach the table the smell of burnt food wafted in the air, it was placed on the table the piece was clearly blackened as in burned. I asked the waiter do you think that looks good he said no and I asked if he would’ve eaten it he said no. I then asked him why would he bring it to the table if he answered no to both of those questions. We asked for the check he brought it and said he took half off of that dinner and I said I was not satisfied with that since it was such a poorly executed plate. He corrected it and took that dish off the bill. The waiter was fine the bartender was great and drinks were the only place other than the salad and appetizer were fresh and tasty. Will not be going back. When we approach the restaurant noticed that there was only a few cars at 7 PM reservation and I had my reservation from that before even going in. Nice concept poorly executed. First time there and last time there."

"As far as the bar goes I've always had good experiences there. Very professional bartenders, at least the ones I had. They alway made some good old fashioneds. The hushpuppies are great and the food I get is always good. Fish tacos tasted really good. Great slaw and tarter sauce. Fries were good to. And all with a great riverside view."

"I frequent this restaurant often, and the staff is always friendly with quick service. I've even been there when the drive-thru was backed up around the building, but I still only waited about 15 minutes — that's impressive! You all do an excellent job, and I hope you continue with this quality, as good places can be hard to find. The food is always tasty, even when my order is occasionally wrong, which is rare. Regardless, I always walk away satisfied. Thank you for making my experiences at Taco Bell so enjoyable!"

"We walk in, it takes 5 minutes to get attention. One guy on the grill threw away pounds of steak. All the workers were goofing off, playing/yelling. Two others flirting in the back. Approximately 16 dirty tins on the counter behind the food. Good splatter everywhere. The dirtiest rice I’ve ever seen. It looks like you would get food poisoning eating at this location. We didn’t walk out, we RAN OUT!"

"We had a party of 6 for my birthday on Saturday night. We got two apps queso and chicken bites. Both of them were really good. The salads were awesome. One of the few places I will eat a salad. Everyone at the table ordered steak and they were great. We usually end up here on date night. It nice to eat at a non chain restaurant. They have a lot of options on the menu. Something for everyone!!!"
