"It is very difficult for us to go out to eat locally with my gluten allergy. This was our first time eating here but DEFINITELY won't be the last time. From the moment we walked in we felt very welcome, even when they found out I had a gluten allergy. Everyone was so nice and several staff, including the owner and his wife, talked to us about my allergy. (I wish I had gotten their names) I felt confident that I wouldn't have any issues eating here. My husband got the fried chicken, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. He said his meal was delicious! I had the pulled pork with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, potato salad, and collard greens. I asked for the BBQ sauce before I saw the pulled pork. The pork was so delicious and moist that it didn't even need the sauce! All of my food tasted amazing! We also had a sample of the smoked ribs. We have had ribs in some of the best places in STL and KC but these are by far the BEST ribs we have ever had and they didn't have any sauce on them! We will be getting the ribs when we go back. The prices are comparable to any other area restaurant, not too high for what you get. We definitely recommend eating here!"
