"Update 4/17/22: Good food. Appropriate prices. Friendly service. Not overcrowded. My husband that I inaugurated with my aunt Uncle yesterday. An employee came to our table asking if we were to wait for food. I explained we had no order yet, that was our first time in Essen. She explained the process politely. You could say we could order at the counter where a sign indicates that drinks are called by name, but food would be brought to the table. She warned us that the team is busy, it could order a short waiting period. We ordered her to bring us our drinks. My uncle had a black coffee he seemed to enjoy. My husband I shared with a Cremosa is an Italian soda with cream. We chose passion fruit on their recommendation it was creamy and not excessively sweet, but well flavored. Ruben was a little spicier than expected, but well flavored. The turkey Pesto was delicious as the Spinach Walnut Salad, who had strawberries and creamy goat cheese. We shared a basket of truffles and that was hot and savory. We tried the Bourbon bananas care and a chocolate cake slice and they were both sweet and tasty. I have another Mixed Matcha Mango drink to go and it was just as good as last time. We'll be back. Original 4 Star Review: I had only ordered online before this visit The place is bigger than expected. There was a person in front of me to order. When I was there, they said they were a minute I said it was good. I waited more than 5 minutes before they took my order, but they were polite and the galle that worked the register let me know that she was right with me. I didn't feel ignored, but it took longer than I wanted to order a drink. That said, this is basically a complete restaurant, not just a coffee shop. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner on their menu including alcohol and desserts. The Door Dash menu is small compared to the menu in the house. This is not a complaint that it only records if someone only knows it from online orders. I ordered a mixed matcha drink and added Mango after asking the staff for a recommendation which flavor I could add. The drink was delicious. I shared it with my husband and he loved it too. It was like a mango smoothie and it was creamy, cold and delicious. I would definitely drink again. We have to try the food again."
