"Very good. Very good. Good service. Real Portuguese cuisine. Not recommend the paella marinera . Not much. If you want Paella, go to a Spanish place. HOWEVER the Portuguese food is... good amazing. I have a Portuguese family and have eaten Portuguese food for years and that's the real stuff. Everything with Bacallao (COD) is just delicious. Everything. Ask for dessert the Pastel de nata or Custard pastries. This is probably one of the most delicate deserts in recent years. My reviews have more than 200K views. So you can trust my comments. "The place is small, and so good that sometimes there will be a small waiting time. However, it is totally worth eating here. The food is fresh, tastes organic and clean. The coffee is spectacular, rich in flavor and smooth. The service is also wonderful. Every team member was friendly, professionally courteous and checked on every table several times to ensure everyone was taken care of. I brought my 16yr old niece for brunch on Saturday mid morning and she also loved the ambiance, the service and specially the quality in the food and ingredients used to make it! Highly recommend for all ages."

"First one here because my husband and I were so hungry…we didn’t expect anything great “just a pizza spot” boy were we wrong.. first of all we had an amazing server, Rebecca. So sweet, didn’t mind my two little ones talking loud, brought our drinks and food FAST. When I tried that first bite…. DELICIOUS. "Well hidden in the the bowels of Sunset Place it was hard to find and, once located, did not have practical seating nor appealing food. On a Saturday night our table was the only one occupied. The closest to Mexico any of the employees had been is probably South Miami. Not even Mexican backgroud music but some kind of loud hip hop which made conversing difficult."

"What an amazing find! Visiting Miami from London, I had a craving for Persian food and came across Shahs of Kabob. Their Mast o Moosir was stunning with lavash bread. Such a generous portion too! I understand they are getting a proper bread oven shortly from Iran.Perfect Kabob Koobideh was especially good and the rice the best I've had for years.Nice to be able to sit outside, card payments accepted. After eating Persian food from around the world, this was one of the best.I wish I was in Miami for longer to be able to come again, however a good reason to come back ?"

"We had a wonderful dinner at Mi'talia last night. Our party of 4 had the meatballs, buratta salad, chicken parmesan and 2 plates of the snapper. All of the dishes were outstanding- crunchy, fresh vegetables, excellent herbaceous sauces, and well-prepared proteins. Our server, Maria, took wonderful care of us without interrupting our active conversations. We, honestly, can't wait to go back again! Please support this wonderful restaurant!"

"We had a party of 14 and they have a max table of 13. So we gladly split our party into two different tables (I made two reservations 7 days before) One table of 5 and one of 9 I was the table of 9 with our amazing server Elijah! He was very attentive and organized he had great recommendations knowledge! So sweet! Unfortunately the birthday man was at the table of 5 with a server who I won’t mention by name because I honestly didn’t bother to ask her name with her attitude she was wearing the same black gloves the entire time I’ll add anyway, we waited patiently 30 minutes after our reservation to finally be sat. She was eager to get sat any other party besides us a party of 2 walked in and she was rushing to get them sat before us again we had a reservation before they did, which the host pointed out to her many inconveniences happened throughout the Sunday Brunch but the cherry on top was when she tried to charge the party of 5 a “Large Party” fee of 20% Last time I check it’s for parties of at least 6 aka not them so I asked her to remove it which she seemed surprised by but ultimately got it removed again unfortunately it was to late to refund the rest of the party of 5 she said, I just wanted to leave before it got worst. Note to management I have the receipt(s) and expect an explanation as to why the refund was too late for her mistake. Special Notes: Thank you to the host Sunday morning! She was sweet and patient! She never lost her smile which I know first hand is hard to carry with everything going on with servers, management and guest all at once. Lastly our server for the party of 9 (Elijah) always gave us a fresh plate as well as kept my water full! Thank you again."

"Summer 2023 update: Tonight we went back to Root Bone (late July), not very crowded Saturday evening. I had the wedge salad which was very good, medium sized portion and the corn soufflé which was rich and decadent! My husband got the bone in pork chop which was cooked beautifully on the outer portions but was RAW around the bone, we pointed this out to the waiter and they offered us something else but it was late and we were tired and service had been a bit slow so we just wanted to finish and go home. Even though they apologized about the raw pork I was surprised when they did not take it off the bill or at least reduce the bill in any way. But, live and learn.Past posts below:This restaurant has improved a lot in the past year since I wrote a previous 3-star review so I thought I’d write an updated one.Today a friend and I went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The menu has finally changed although they’ve kept some good items like biscuits and shrimp and grits.Tuesdays they have half price bottles of wine after 4pm which was nice! We got grandmas biscuits which were excellent, deviled eggs which were also good, the salmon main course which was very good and the shrimp and grits which was huge and delish. I have left overs for dinner!They also have an amazing starter pumpkin soup that is amazing. Parking was easy because it was lunchtime, service was great and the seating outside was very nice and breezy. They have fans if it gets buggy. Will go back!"

"This is the best pizza in Miami. You can walk within 5 minutes from South Miami Metro Station (because you had it, you don't want to walk there. That's good! "The food was great but apparently my friend ordered a hamburger with only cheese and the burger was sent without the cheese when we ask why the burger was sent without the cheese they went back to the kitchen and brought cold cheese so we decided to call the manager and she came to our table so instead of given us some percentage of a disc she offer my friend dessert without asking if we wanted dessert or something else. So it was like they made a mistake so dessert will erase what they did wrong. My friend was not happy so the owner came to our table and ask what happened so he decided to listen and instead my friend decided to get a soup so everyone was happy. Great food great atmosphere and great owner. This place I recommend."

"Not many bowling lanes left in Miami but this one is still standing. When here the first time for my sisters birthday and it was great. Prices were awesome it's about $10 a person to bowl including shoe rental. While you wait they have a full bar a billiards table that you can rent by the hour. Great place I will be coming back"

"I recently attended my niece's birthday and I was floored by the changes this establishment has had since the new ownership. Not only aesthetically but with the service and quality of teas/food. I came here a few years back and was wildy underwhelmed. This time around, I felt taken care of and respected and catered to. The girls were having an absolute blast and have already mentioned wanting to go back for all the yummies (their words, not mine). The staff was super attentive and my sister mentioned how easy and carefree planning was with the help of the owner. She mentioned how accesible the owner was and always game to be creative and ensure the event was perfect for both the kids and adults."
