"The owner is very nice and the food was decent. My son had a stomachache, so she brought him lemons and sprit to help. We came after closing (ignorant) and they served us and stayed open without haste. If I lived in the area, I'd come back. This is the old Sands restaurant. Hours are hard to find online, the menu says 7 am to 9 pm."

"On our way back from a trip recently, my Pop suggested we stop off and try it out.Worst mistake ever! I'm not even sure why this place is open. Maybe it's the original owner's family keeping it open. Seriously, put the poor guy out of his misery. He is rude. "Open 24 hours! After 8 hours of driving and nothing being open or gas stations not having any heated food items out 12am this Wendy's was a lifesaver! They were busy being the only place open for miles, our food was fresh and hot! A big thank you to staff for working the dreaded graveyard shift and being downright awesome!"

"my family was on the way and in serious need to eat. we arrived directly before the conclusion of the time on the afternoon in the abhorrent time frame. the staff was very accommodating and served us fast. and eating was delicious! she saved this mamas life for the next hour in the car! had the green enchiladas (the heat was spot on and the Habanero sauce super hot! but I couldn't stop it!"

"If you get BBQ, ribs or alcohol get clear from this place and go anywhere in the city. Really one of the worst services beside the food I've had for a long time. The waitress was absolutely no help and actually quite rude. Her $20 baby back ribbed plate came with a tiny part of 4 ribs, and some of the hardest and worst ribs I've ever had. FOUR TINY RIBS, who orders ribs and wants 4 tiny, baked ribs! And their drinks taste like they have nothing in them, just sugar. Really one of the worst experiences I had on my way in a while. Was excited to try a small town small Steakhouse BBQ, but this place is not worth it. Go somewhere, but if you keep going, you will be extremely disappointed. Absolutely amazed by the lack of service and quality of food."

"A very nice place to stay for one night or even a week! There is no pool but I think it’s made up by how clean and kept up the building is. We had an overall pleasant stay at Hotel El Capitan and we will stay here again next time we are in the area! Highly recommend 10/10!Rooms: The rooms were well kept and very comfortable! Unfortunately the room we stayed in only had A/C in the two bedrooms. So the bathroom got quite warm. But overall the rooms were very nice and clean. ?Food drinks: The hotel has an on-site restaurant, which was very convenient as we would have preferred to stay indoors considering the heat. The food was a little pricy, but it was incredibly tasty and I would say it’s worth the price if you’re looking for some good food.Noteworthy details: The building has a very “Old-West” ambiance to it. It’s a beautiful building that has some history to it as it was built in 1930. It even has a little book store which I thought was pretty cool!"

"That was the sweetest lil for lunch on our trip!! We have both sandwiches....Turtle Back Chips (hubby) and A-BLT with potato salad for me. Everything was great. The potato salad was amazing! I even tried Jalapeño Mango Ice Cream....different, though? Would it definitely stop a point when back in this area??"

"We were road-tripping through the area and decided on this small shop. We saw the local DHS officers ate there and thought they know the best spots. The restaurant was pretty clean and the employees very friendly. That said, some of the food was low quality or tasteless. The carne asada was all gristle, chips were stale, and the salsa had no flavor. Rice, beans, salad, and chile relleno were good. This was by far the worst place we ate during our trip and became a running joke at every place we ate after. This restaurant better not have Lizy cooking"

"RJs was recommended by Mountain View RV Park staff. It was all they said, and more. Many portions of great tasting food for a decent price. We had the Hamburger Steak w/gravy and bovine quesadilla. Very good! Service with a smile. We will definitely recommend it to fellow travelers and stop here again."

"Service and food were great! Loves the atmosphere and decor. Would definitely go back for lunch time. We went for breakfast and I had the egg and bacon plate husband had the egg and sausage plate kids both had the egg and chorizo burrito. Chips and salsa as well. The salsa was great to add to the burritos and the beans!!"
