El Capitan Restaurant Bar

El Capitan is a gem in West Texas! It was very beautiful and everything I had hoped it to be! My love and myself had the best experience staying here and will again if we go through west Texas. The had fresh made cookies every day and the continental breaks was very good. Their restaurant had great food to offer us as well. We had an absolutely wonderful experience and stay.

While driving from Texas to Tucson on a recent move west we saw this cute hotel from the highway. After reading all the reviews we decided it was our next half way stop. It did not disappoint! Tones of history with modernized features and a welcoming staff. We dined at the restaurant where Sylvia took excellent care of us. The next morning, Robert provided a wonderful breakfast experience as well with great conversation and friendly service. We loved our stay and will visit again.Rooms: Rooms were small, but very comfortable and well stockedFood drinks: The restaurant was excellent. Great food with a couple of vegetarian options for our family

A very nice place to stay for one night or even a week! There is no pool but I think it’s made up by how clean and kept up the building is. We had an overall pleasant stay at Hotel El Capitan and we will stay here again next time we are in the area! Highly recommend 10/10!Rooms: The rooms were well kept and very comfortable! Unfortunately the room we stayed in only had A/C in the two bedrooms. So the bathroom got quite warm. But overall the rooms were very nice and clean. ?Food drinks: The hotel has an on-site restaurant, which was very convenient as we would have preferred to stay indoors considering the heat. The food was a little pricy, but it was incredibly tasty and I would say it’s wor...
