"Went in with my family when I came home for one of my once every 6 months visits. (I live in Paisley, Scotland They had never been and had heard great reviews, so wanted to take me while I was in town for the week because I too had never been. The price of the food was crazy, I would never be asked to pay that much in the UK for the low quality stuff they serve at that small town restaurant! Also, I'm vegan, there was literally NOTHING on the menu I could eat. I ended up only having water, and I wasn't even graced by our server with a refill...of my TAP WATER! After we left my dad and I jokes that we could have gone to Taco Bell, I could have eaten, had a refill on my water, and we would have paid less for food of about the same quality. He wasn't even impressed and won't be going back."

"My family was on the way home from a week in Florida. The Vrbo we lived in had a coffee machine. We had children who needed a strong break and adult drivers looking for a cup of coffee to fuel the drive. We discovered and stopped this place. Most workers were children. A child took our order while another child artistically formed a perfect sheet of design on a latte for another customer. Where were we? We pulled our Google card to find out if we had entered some sort of timewarp or alternative universe. Was the majority of the workers' children? Were they really all competent, friendly and efficient with customer service? How was that? At this point, we have adults drinking the perfect coffee at the exact temperature that it should be served, and after a week remember the Vrbo which coffee should be. We stood in silent Awe as another girl brought pumpkin muffins that were still warm and decadent, and then we spent the next four and a half hours of our car trip home to find out how our primary school children could also be hardworking employees this summer."

"not sure how many stars I really want to give. the people were very nice. we were greeted when we came in and told us to come and see what remains of breakfast. there was a little speck, various pieces sausage and ham and a baked steak, cubed kartoffels, 2 types of grumbs, stir and biscuits and gravy. it wasn't really hot and there wasn't much of it. we thought that was it, but 3 more people came in right after us and they were told to wait a moment while they refilled the bar I was a little sad."

"Visited this place based on the reviews since we were in the area traveling up Hwy 27 towards Dothan. Thought it would be nice to have lunch with my wife with a view of the lake, plus again, the reviews were saying the food was very good. When we got there, it was in the middle of lunch. We stood up front at the host area, took a while for anyone to acknowledge us. But they were busy so no problem. We asked for seating outside, but they said it was unavailable at that time. There were people sitting out there and tables were open, but for whatever reason both me and the couple behind us were told it was not available and we'd have to be eat inside. Very disappointing since we don't live here to come back again soon. I ordered the classic burger. My wife got the tacos. The burger was good. But if you ever had a cheeseburger that sat for a while to the point where the cheese was no longer melty, instead it was room temperature. As were the fries. Things have to be really bad for me to send food back. I just don't trust that process and what happens to your food when it's out of sight in the back, so I ate it. My wife did not enjoy the taste of her tacos either. It took about 30 minutes from the time we were seated, before our food was in front of us. That wasn't too long for me but if your hungry and impatient, hopefully your experience is faster. Based on the numerous glowing reviews, we would try this place again, but I'd call ahead first to make sure they have their outside seating open, and I'd try something else on the menu. Oh, and the sweet tea was great!"
