"This review is for their Sunday brunch. I have to say this was the best brunch I had this year. $38 per person with 2 courses and dessert, the portion is generous and food is comforting. You get out full and satisfied guaranteed. Yesterday, the menu was: smoked salmon with cucumber salad and yogurt raita sauce, suveed tri top, with delicious potatoes and roasted small onions. The dessert was lemon cream bar. I wish I can elaborate more on how it was prepared, because it was not as simple as I described. Food is very simple, but very meticulously prepared. Oh yeah! Love this place. It’s got class, a very interesting theme, and the freshest, organic ingredients in all their cuisine. I was invited to eat here a couple of weeks ago and Man! What a treat it was. Owned by the world renound chef Thomas Kellar, this restaurant features a 5 course menu every night. No more fidgeting over what you want to order, Thomas Kellar has already done that for ya! His meals are served family style with the utmost best table service imaginable. Definetly a fine treat if you haven’t eaten at many fine dining restarurants. $45 is the charge every night per person, no matter what day it is.Simply good I tell ya. “Ad Hoc: a temporary relief from hunger”

I went here for a romantic dinner and to try the cusine. We went on a Thursday evening, when roast pork was the main course. We called for reservations in the morning, and got the last two spots available. When we arrived we were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was busy and somewhat noisy. The decor was modern and spartan – not bad but not the place for a quiet romantic dinner. The service was quick and attentive. "I was really looking forward to our visit at Bistro Jeanty but our experience is not one that will take us back there. The cocktails were good and my dinner was good but my husband's steak was brought out raw and it was so chewy that he didn't even end up finishing it. We would have sent it back but our server was never around. Our server was nice but wouldn't look at me, unless I was ordering, but only gave attention to my husband. All specials and other information was spoken directly to him, which was really awkward and uncomfortable for both of us. I get it if you aren't into ladies, but when in service all members of the party should be acknowledged. The other huge bummer was that the hostess had 2 of her friends come in, and seated them at the table next to us. The tables are all very close together, which is fine, until you have the hostess talking to her friends for most of your meal, and her butt is right where you are trying to eat. No one wants to look at a butt and listen to the hostess talk to her friends, instead of doing her job, when you are trying to enjoy a meal. In a town like Yountville we expect great service, and have never been let down until this visit to Bistro Jeanty. We will not be back and definitely do not recommend it."

"Went there for my sisters 50th. She is a chef and we are all food lovers. I went for the food but expected the service to be exceptional. They did not disappoint. They read us immediately as more casual than snooty and treated us accordingly without any compromise to the service it was beyond perfect and everything I imagined probably a once in a lifetime experience but glad I checked it off my bucket list."

"that was our first time in coqueta. that was delicious. we had several tapas plates before we eat the seafood paella. the smoked salmon was spectacular! we were disappointed at the service. over 3 hours for a meal was more than we had negotiated. we sat almost 30 minutes before we quit. Once we finally knocked down a waiter, it took at least another 15 minutes before we got our drinks (but not yet water on the table.) I couldn't believe that the personal wonders about the tables while it is for the guests who try to tie them down. it's like we're not even there. such a disappointment – especially after learning that michael chiarello has the facility. I would have expected more. we enjoyed eating, but we can skip this for the next time because of the unacceptable service."

"This would have been an Excellent review, if not for the Maitre d'. The food and table service were great and the atmosphere was vibrant. It was our wedding anniversary dinner, planned and booked one month in advance. We were excited as we traveled from Texas to experience Napa Valley and have our dinner at Bouchon. When we checked in, the Maître d' looked around and immediately placed us in the bar area and not the dining room (with table cloths She didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait for a table, which we would have. No, she just sat us in the bar area. This is not what I would call good service! I expect much better from a Thomas Keller restaurant! I'm sorry to report this, but the restaurant needs to know. Again, the wait staff was great and the food excellent."
