"Oh my goodness......this is hands down the BEST dining experience I have had in years. Beats any Italian restaurant I have ever dined at in Boston. We chose this restaurant for our 9 year wedding anniversary because we both wanted Italian food and we wanted to eat close in our hometown of Newburyport. The restaurant is in a little antique home that feels warm and cozy with low wood paneled ceilings and a beautiful bar. We were seated in a lovely little table in the corner. Our waitress Lilly was extremely friendly and very attentive to our dietary needs. Excellent experience this last Friday night. The great atmosphere and the excellent staff are just the beginning. All the food is amazing when the night went on I was able to talk to other males and all there loved their food. Dance all night and laugh. I will definitely return and intend to visit the Chelmsford site also!!! 5. Stars are not even enough!!!

I really liked this place. Best fried calamari in Newburyport for sure. Amazingly crispy yet edible and the sweet glaze over is just to die for. I had the flatbread and my fiancé had the chicken Parmesan. The sauce used in my flatbread tasted almost “old” in a sense. Everything else about the flatbread was delicious. But the sauce was just too strong for my liking, but it wasn’t bad. I just personally wouldn’t order it again. The chicken Parmesan was amazing though. The chicken was clearly marinated in lots of lemon as you could even smell it. The cheese was great, sauce was good. Plentiful portion. We really enjoyed our dinner here. It was very quiet on warm summer Tuesday evening around 7:30. We had a meatball appetizer that we both really enjoyed. 3 average size meatballs with a nice marinara and fresh parmesan, served alongside bread and dipping oil. My dinner was scallops over risotto (they were over salted, but tasty), he had a filet with fried gnocchi, both were excellent. We both order mixed drinks which contained grapefruit juice and enjoyed them. We were in the front room at a high top table. The room itself is a little dark and the ceiling is low.
