"Stopped by here on Friday, not too much going on. Was happy they had Revolver's Blood and Honey! But besides that, not many exciting bear options. Ordered the Brisket Nachos. Everything but the brisket and beans were solid... so unfortunately can't recommend them. Might be a personal taste thing. Bartender was nice! She definitely added to our experience. Anyway, a decent bar, definitely worth trying out, but if I'm passing through Glen Rose again I'll probably try some other spot. Was visiting Glenrose for an event and decided to stop in. Service at the bar was top notch, Americana flatbread was really good and the food came out fresh and hot. Awesome staff, great service, quality food l, but most importantly I received personalized service and the bar tender made me an amazing margarita. Will definitely stop back in here anytime I’m in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"Good experience, forward! The staff here is very polite, waiting times were true to set expectations (about 45 minutes on Saturday night). It was hot when we visited, but the staff offered us to move as sitting was available, we refused to move, but perhaps we should have, as our waters were consumed quickly and remained thirsty more than once. Nevertheless, we still had a positive experience. The Gouda-Mac and cheese was hot and tasteful and the well roasted topping was buttery, crispy and complimented it well. The whiskey-glazed pork chop had great taste, but was light on the dry side, although I would still recommend it. Voodoo Shrimp Pasta was well fed but not sharp. No complaints from my family here. Overall we had a great experience here and enjoyed our meals, but there is a price premium for taste and portion size."

"Service was friendly. The rolls and butter you get are spectacular. They look like regular old dense baked pieces of pizza crust. But when you pick it up you notice they are light. An almost croissant like outer texture....mmmmmm. I can put 2 and 2 together so I ordered a meat lovers pizza Alfredo style. Crust was awesome. My lovely wife had spaghetti. It was all delicious and our cokes tasted oddly better than usual"

"Labor Day was our first visit to the newly owned Shoo-Fly Soda Shop. Why did we wait so long? It was delicious overload! Homemade (yes! Brownies were the basis of this salted caramel sunda and it was as good as the Kip 's Big Boy or Swenson 's Hot Fudge sunflowers from old. My husband had one of her newly inspired aromas of Shakes, banana pudding shake, which was delicious from this world! The atmosphere is Darling offers buffalo basket trees filled with old designed candy not found in the city, or much more from anywhere. They have decorative items for the house, tea towels, a nice selection of Melissa and Doug items. It is a relaxing room for adults and fun spot for children or those who want a short holiday from the city who want to enjoy sweet treats in a charming old soda shop setting. Glen Rose is in her historic place for this business!"

"The Tiger Cheese Enchiladas were really good! Highly recommended. The service was a little lacking, it was a full house but it seemed staff was overwhelmed. Great family environment and very beautiful inside!"
