"Great experience. A week ago I visited Quincy Illinois and had an utterly pleasant dining experience at Boodalu Restaurant. Just entering a beautiful l870 's brick building with tall windows overlooking the Mississippi put me in the mood for a relaxing meal. I was not disappointed. We were comfortably seated and offered a full menu of enticing choices. One offering was 'Shrimp Your Way ' where large shrimp are prepared just as you choose. I chose fried coconut style and they were cooked to perfection-not over or under cooked. My partner chose the blue cheese topped prime rib. It was robust and satisfying. One of my all time favorite places. The atmosphere is incredible. The food has always been wonderful and the owners really do make you feel like family!

Amazing food (especially the steak and seafood) and atmosphere! Owners Michael and Kathy are warm and welcoming! This place has an awesome upstairs cocktail lounge and great ambiance all around. This is a must when in Quincy!

Restaurant Lounge. Girls night out started in the gorgeous lounge. Beautiful wine selection and atmosphere. Dinner was equally wonderful. The Blue Bell- Center Cut Filet topped with blue cheese cream sauce and a portabella mushroom was cooked perfectly. The Muddy Dog chowder was delicious and the desserts are a must have. We shared the Carrot Cake drizzled with caramel, Andes Mint chocolate cake and the Creme Brulee. Truly some of the best desserts I have ever had! Thank you Michael Kathy for the wonderful night out and a superb dining experience, we will be back...soon!

"First, we got Siren’s Kiss, a shrimp, avocado and cucumber roll topped with scallops and black tobiko. This was delicious with a nice crunch and burst of tobiko flavor. Next, I got the Secret to Success which had spicy tuna and mango, topped with seared salmon and jalapeños. It was a perfect combo of seared salmon that just melted in your mouth with the spicy and savoriness of wasabi and tuna, loved it! To end our meal, we got a Chirashi bowl of assorted sashimi (tuna, salmon, and yellowtail) over a bed of rice. The sushi here is always A1 quality, hands down one of my favorite places to grab sushi. Try the Secret to Success if you haven’t already! You won’t be disappointed"

"I had been wanting to try actual ramen at a ramen restaurant for years, so it's safe to say I went to this restaurant with high expectations. They met all of them. Delicious Ramen, well priced and expertly presented. The restaurant's interior is simple and comfortable. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Go with an empty belly, portion size is quite ample. I would not hesitate to suggest it to any Ramen enthusiast."

"We ordered chicken white rice soup, broccoli cheddar soup and BBQ chicken salad. The texture of soups are soft and smooth. The chicken white rice one is a little bit spicy. We love the salad because of the ingredients. Just not 5 star because of some table is not clean and we can't sit on the preferably table. Social distancing was practiced."

"I want to preface what I am about to say in my review with this statement, I don't enjoy giving a business a poor review. However, recently I ordered from this restaurant and I found a long strand of hair in one of my two prato feito meal. I also found a questionable thing in my tres leches cake. This ordeal is the second time this has happened. The first time I ordered from here, I found a hair in my dessert also. I really wish there was more of an emphasis on cleanliness in the kitchen. Head coverings and beards should be used always. Logically, I won't order from here again after these two incidents."
