"Truly the environment is so welcoming! This spot is speak Bourbon with deep dark wood grain seating, high chairs and amazing staff I was impressed. My first date here and my live for freshly made dough this is why I’m a pizza connoisseur lol. The owner was actually hosting and very beautiful spirit!! LOVE the traditional crust pizza! this past weekend i ordered carry out with a couple of special requests despite them being EXTREMELY busy, as well as short-staffed, they had forgotten to accommodate my special requests didn’t even ask if i was okay with just taking the pizza they made, just went ahead remade the whole thing, which was very much appreciated! always worth the drive from Lburg!!!! "Ordered veal marsala, over cooked, chewy and had grissle... never experienced grissle in veal before nor do I care to. Hostess was unfriendly, scowl free of charge, and seemed bothered by her job. Table had a couple puddles of olive oil, wiped with a wet rag thus spreading it all over the table. Hint: oil and water don't mix. Herb mix for bread was salted, heavily! Finally, waitress also seemed over her job, uncongenial! Disappointed due to reviews and price point, neither aligned to my experience."

"I absolutely love Jack's! Today, though—oh my goodness! Every employee was overwhelmed. The microwave broke, which meant no pancakes, and the restaurant was packed with customers who had already placed their orders. Some people were getting quite frustrated because their orders were incomplete. My order was incorrect as well. The staff was so busy that it felt almost impossible for them to keep up. Things got a bit heated at the front counter and drive-thru a few times. After about 35 minutes of waiting, they finally managed to catch up and get our orders sorted out. It was a long wait and a bit chaotic, but I know it was just a rough day. I still love Jack's!"

"I would love to have given five stars for the food. I will say that for a Sunday right after church, we were seated quickly, we were greeted by our server, who was frankly sweater then a peach cobbler, fairly quickly, but it took five ever for our meal to arrive. Probably some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I ordered the livers and can honestly say they treated those livers with tender loving care. Momma would have been proud. But it was the sides where they failed. Maybe it was just me, but the mashed potatoes and gravy might as well have come from KFC because they tasted both instant and the gravy, canned. With so much emphasis on a delicious fried chicken, why not go the rest of the way and give me some country sawmill style gravy? I wanted real mashed potatoes, and those just tasted kind of boxed for me. I had an expectation and they left me wanting. The mac and cheese was better than most but still just not quite making it. As far as chicken goes I give them a 6 out of 5 stars. But it's got to be a complete package for me. And because something so classic as mashed potatoes and gravy with your fried chicken was so basic, I just couldn't go all the way on an overall rating. but I will be back and I plan to bring family there I just know not to order the mashed potatoes and gravy! LOL Finally, can I just say that from a price perspective spot on! It's so easy for restaurants to overcharge but we walked out for under 40 bucks with a tip at lunch including some key lime pie which was delightful. Hopefully the next time we go service will be a little faster. A final note or rather a suggestion, offer a portion option on the catfish, and how about some chicken fried steak! Also, try looking into chicken chips with the skin."
