"My husband and I recently had the worst experience here. We went to Bayville with our kids and stopped in to eat. The place was empty except for 1 guy at the bar. Our waitress seemed annoyed that she had to take our orders. After we placed our orders she brought out my daughters food rather quickly but then it took over an hour for my food and my husbands food to come. We couldn't even find the waitress to ask what was taking so long. She finally came over after more people walked in and said that it would be a few more minutes. Another 10-15 minutes passed before the food actually came. It was dried out and some of it cold as if it had been sitting under warmers in the kitchen for at least...

The restaurant had a strange odor. It was the off-season, so there was only one other person at the bar, who appeared to be a friend of the bartender. They only had two drinks available on tap. The bartender was friendly and engaged in conversation with us. When I asked for a cider, he honestly admitted that they do not carry cider, but there is a place nearby that does.

We ordered the tilapia sandwich with a side of fries, hot wings, chicken quesadilla, clam chowder, and fried calamari! The food was mediocre. Not bad enough to criticize but also not good enough to call home and share a nice restaurant. I like to always have a silver lining so I like to say that fried calamari was the best dish that we ordered. It was battered and fried and covered with a sweet and spicy glaze. Unfortunately, the glaze was a little too overpowered. It took forever for our waiters to tend to our needs. I understand it was a Sunday October 15th that we arrived. They had 3 visible waiters tending to the restaurant and I felt it was very understaffed.
