"Such a hidden gem! We found this Cafe on Find me Gluten Free we were looking for breakfast on our way home. There isn 't a lot in the area and certainly not gluten free. The reviews said they had gluten free bread so we figured we 'd try it. I 'm so glad we did! We sat outside on their lovely deck covered in vines providing shade. Everything we ordered always delicious. They even cooked my kids GF french toast. The kids liked it so much we needed to get a second order. This is definitely a must stop location if you are in the area ."

We had lunch and our entrees we well prepared and tasty. It is a very quaint restaurant and takes you back in time. The employees are friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Lovely experience! We were rushed for time and they let us order before a table was ready! I love drinking steamed milk because of the froth and because I mentioned this detail, they took extra time to give me a glass of hot milk that was 3/4 froth. Best part of my day!! Deliciously fresh bread!! Very homey environment with a beautiful garden and adorable free little library!!

Would I drive 4+ hours to come back to Butterfield’s? The answer: yes, for the food and to see Sasquatch the cat!! My husband and I stoped by on our way home from visiting the area!! We got to sit in the back patio which was so calm and inviting! Absolutely loved our food and drinks! We also loved getting some greetings from the kitty! The food gives that perfect homemade love-filled feeling like what your momma makes on Sunday! A must try!

"We made our yearly stop at Butterfield's this morning for breakfast before heading home to Florida! The food was delicious as always and service was amazing! They even brought out a basket full of coloring books to keep our toddler entertained while we waited for our food! If you have the opportunity to stop for a bite here, don't miss it! We make sure we never do!"

"I asked for grilled cheese, and they gave me a chicken sandwich and made me pay for it. Their prices are abnormally high for a pizzeria; the only reason it's not a 1-star is because the food itself was actually good. I would not recommend unless you have nowhere else to go."

"I ordered from this establishment and asked if they delivered and they said yes your little out of the area but yes, and once I receive the food the order was wrong and when I called and told the owner which happened to answer the phone about it all he's did was started to yell at me about not leaving the driver a tip and that there was a place to leave a tip when the payment method was texted to me. When I explained there wasn't or I didn't see it he said yes there is and never to order back from that establishment again quote. I was then informed there was a $200 minimum to deliver to where I was at which I was not aware of and should have been informed when I placed the order over the phone. I then told the owner it wasn't intentional that I didn't leave a tip and then proceeded to yell and chastise me about the order and said that my business was no longer welcome... So in short he has not only lost my business but a big organization's business that usually orders hundreds and hundreds of dollars from this establishment every year. Great job owner!"

"We were in there as a group of 5 on Friday, and I understand it was their first weekend under new management. The restaurant itself is pretty interesting--good vibe, not too loud and has a nice local, eclectic feel to it. We had a misunderstanding with our order, but I was extremely impressed by the way the manager handled it. We started out a little crabby but left feeling like they did right by us, and overall we had a really nice evening. I had the rib eye, which was excellent and perfectly cooked. Overall, all of the cuts of meat were good cuts and very tasty. I didn't have dessert, but those in our party who did were very happy. Coming from NY, I'm very spoiled with good customer service. I have much lower expectations when I'm in the country, but these guys handled everything really well. I would definitely go back. The food was good and the customer service was solid."
