"We were in there as a group of 5 on Friday, and I understand it was their first weekend under new management. The restaurant itself is pretty interesting--good vibe, not too loud and has a nice local, eclectic feel to it. We had a misunderstanding with our order, but I was extremely impressed by the way the manager handled it. We started out a little crabby but left feeling like they did right by us, and overall we had a really nice evening. I had the rib eye, which was excellent and perfectly cooked. Overall, all of the cuts of meat were good cuts and very tasty. I didn't have dessert, but those in our party who did were very happy. Coming from NY, I'm very spoiled with good customer servi...

this place is under new ownership. I can't comment on the current Koo Koose Grille, and am leaving the original review up for posterity.

Don't be fooled by the modest neighborhood in which you'll find this gem! The food is unique and flavorful! The ambiance had the feel of an English Pub, americana-style. The corn bread is served to everyone, with a maple butter... divine! The portion sizes were reasonable. You'll love it!
