Today was the special meat store and it sounded so good. But the temptation of the sloppy Bratbeef was too strong. This Poboy lived until his name, and I had to ask my waitress for many extra napkins. Funny thing is the menu says cut Bratbeef, which could basically mean deli meat. But the sandwich was crushed pot roast, which is the right way to do it. I'm pretty sure I don't have to eat tonight.

Grandparents' favorite restaurant. My grandparents go to Da Wabbitt's at least once a week. He usually gets the special or a fried seafood platter with a cup of gumbo, and she likes the turtle soup with the Italian salad. Both the gumbo and turtle soup are phenomenal, but the sauce was a little too rich for me on the crabmeat stuffed catfish. Any soul food you order here is going to be authentic. Portions are big, so maybe consider sharing. Family friendly.
