"Great restaurant! Our waitress was Rachel and she was super friendly and had great moods. The restaurant is decorated in a historic house. They had just updated the menus there and we had the chance to try some new dishes, the black salmon and the red pepper hummus that came in the cupboard that were both brilliant. Husband enjoyed the salmon and I chose a full house salad that was delicious. The balsamic dressing was perfectly balanced between sweet and sour. We all loved food and drinks. The Calamari was one of the best I ever tasted. The best was the fried goat cheese we all love. We had several small plates and all were very good. If it's a must.

We are here today to celebrate our 11th anniversary. That was our first visit... the staff was very pleasant, the atmosphere was great and the food was very delicious and creative. We ordered sea red scallops, chicken wings, cowlids (best ever! and fries. We also have a yummy desert that we have shared that four people can be served! We highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back :

Wow this place was so cozy, elegant and romantic. The food was amazing. I am super impressed by this place, it will be one of my new ones. I ordered the fried Calamari, slider, bacon wrapped dates with a balsamic reduction, crispy pig bell, roasted chickens potatoes with cale and onion strands. Her sauce for the Calamari was amazing. Omg everything was so good. In my opinion, the sliders were on average compared to the rest of the food, because the other food was so good. I can't stress it enough. "I have visited numerous times over the years and I was truly disappointed and was so looking forward to my lunch. I ordered pot roast and it arrived well done and cold,, even the extra gravy was slightly warm. Our server was wonderful and apologetic but it was not enough to warm our hearts. "Great family diner with big portions and reasonable prices. We went for breakfast and between 3 people sampled a lot of different foods all good. I especially love that they let my 6 9 year old do every single substitute for their meals with no extra charge!! Kid friendliness: I love any restaurant that accommodates all the substitutes my kids want bagel instead of potatoes, English muffin instead of toast, etc. at no extra charge!"

"Avellino- Sturbridge, Massachusetts- 9/21/2017 As you drive up, a stately white building faces the road with tall white columns, ornate trim and an inviting driveway. That’s the front of the restaurant. Drive around back to enter. You’ll walk thru the downstairs bar to get to the main Dining Room up front. Once inside, dark brown wooden tables and chairs with brown paper place settings. A farm table work station sits center room housing glasses, water, pepper grinders and the like… All this sits on wood plank tile. Mural style wallpaper covers two walls and lots of old wood trim. Dimly lit lighting adds to the ambiance.. The restaurant has a very warm feel to it. Would you believe they actually bake their own bread daily? Most, if not close to all other restaurants bring it in par-baked from commercial bakeries. Served room temperature with herb’d EVOO... Not bad. The photograph really doesn’t do it justice. Tonight starts off with the Shrimp Scampi Bruschetta… Fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto,, Rustic Sourdough, EVVO with a Balsamic Glaze… Flavorful and light. Just the perfect starter. As I contemplated my next course my eyes land on the Slow Roasted Pork Shank served with Root Vegetables of Acorn Squash, Potatoes and Jicama, Tomato, Mushrooms, Demi-glacé, Creamy Polenta, Braised locally sourced Spinach all in a Tomato base rich Brown Sauce… This is a large dish so don’t fill up on bread prior. It was delicious! Although thee were many wonderful dessert choices, I opted to be good and just have my signature Cappuccino with a single piece of Biscotti… I had a great time and my guess is…, you will too. And when you come here, don’t forget to tell them Paul sent you… #Yummy #Food"

"I thought Amanda, my server was great. Since it was my first time there, I took her recommendations to everything from beer to oysters to fish tacos. Everything was great. I'm gonna say I thought I was waiting for dinner for a while because it wasn't so busy, but after I got it, I forgot because the food was so damn good. Thanks to Amanda for the great service!"

"I was really impressed. A friend recommended this place on the way back from Connecticut to lunch. I have the brisket. It was smokey and juicy and fat... My mouth only pours on it. I finished ordering a 2 meat plate to go home to my husband who is from Texas and is very picky about BBQ. His answer when he tried: ' Chicken... that's pretty real. High praise when you ask me! "
