Cherry Street Diner

First time to this breakfast lunch dinner. Hood food good service good food. Despite the many cars parked on the street we found a table for 3 easily. There was at least one large table occupied by four adults two children while we were there. One step up to enter diner.

Greeted like an old friend... had a great conversation with the waitress and the owner ? , as well as other customers. I loved it. And the food, of course. Western omelet with home fries. Yum!! I highly recommend visiting this local small business and showing support. You won't be disappointed!

Good, solid menu. Many different burger toppings. We ate too late. Grilled cheese was made perfect but seemed to have 1 piece of cheese. Cole Slav had a nice kick. Onion rings were small, probably frozen. The chicken sandwich was more generous, beautiful slices of tomatoes and crispy salad, along with crispy frits. Decor is eclectic, and there is a model train hanging on a track on the ceiling. (Why not? Tables far from each other (Covid? And there are old-fashioned stools on the counter. But the best part was the fantastic server. There were not many cartridges, but she refilled our iced teas without asking and was friendly without being obsequious. Definitely worth a stop.
