"I hate to have to come here and post this because we love Daan sushi, but here’s what happened to us just now. As frequent customers we never have had any issues and the foods always been good. We ordered 4 sushi rolls last night and a few minutes into eating them realized they were not good. Noticed the salmon was brown (not smoked) and it was chewy. Let me say again we have had sushi from here multiple times and it’s been great so we knew something wasn’t right so we took a pic and threw it out. This restaurant is kind of hidden off to the side near the Grapevine Mills Mall. It's a very unassuming restaurant, but the food is great. All the rolls we had were tasty and the hot sake was pretty good. We'd go there again.

I had to write a review after taking this photo, it looked good! I ordered the dragon fly roll and the louisiana roll and washed them with a sapporo beer. of course! very fresh and it was warm all the time when I ate it. the inner of the place was cool (pack a long sleeve,) but unlike that, it was perfect!

by far one of the best Japanese places I was to. the atmosphere was beautiful, and the amount of food they get it much in considering pulling other places calculate the same price for the half of the amount of food, and it was all high quality. I will recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi or Japanese eating generally, and will be sure to visit when I am in the opposite.
