"his definitiw 5-star food and especially ice! but the prizes are even a little bit much for a small city. so his not as they have to do to keep in business, so I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure they're even more business when they were a little more reasonable price and that goes for many I just don't understand how they can't find out. people will buy more if their fairer price is so easy. but anyway great food / ice and good service. I will recommend it, but with a warning of the price."

Very nice place. Shakes and ice cream are pretty good. Burgers and hot food are slightly better than ok. Burgers are not fresh beef, but still good. Very clean locale with an outdoor patio and plenty of parking. Easy to see from the road and service is fast and friendly.

Stopped at Dairy Joy each day on a recent trip back to Illinois. I grew up in Big Rock next door, so it's always reliving my youth going back. Same friendly service, great food and experience at small town mid-west prices. Thankful Dairy Joy still has it's original charm for the next generation.

Great place to grab some ice cream and food. This small shack is very nostalgic. They serve different types of ice cream’s, from basic cones to Sundaes. They also serve classic American foods, like hamburgers, hotdogs, and fries. Make sure to check out their week day specials, every day is a different deal.
