"Hands down the best Greek cuisine we had in a long time! We came right before the busy dinner crowd with our service dog... we had the perfect table, delicious wine, excellent hummus pita, we got the roasted vegetable salad with addition of gyro meat, for protein, and it was fabulous! All portions were HUGE... we had stopped with the salad, but our first time there, we wanted a good sample of the menu and also got the Moussaka! Nothing short of excellent taste, spices, presentation....without question we would return... Also, do not stop there, we were treated with free baklava with drizzle of caramel puffs from whip cream, great finish!"

I stumbled on Dametra Cafe while I stopped in Carmel. During the search for the menu a gentleman came out and invited us. We sat at a table at the window and enjoyed the atmosphere. The Calamari was amazing and the Dametra Salad w/ Salmon was excellent. The best salmon I've ever had! The staff was friendly and attentive.

Where do I start? To cart Cafe is amazing. Bashar the owners and Nadeem the managers are amazing and so is all staff. Every time we come, we feel like we come home. The food is superb- the chicken cabob is delicious and so are all desserts. The atmosphere is very cozy with occasional music that is much fun. We came here every day for the last 5 days when we visited Carmel. I will definitely be back!

Dametra in Carmel is one of our favorite places to eat. The presentation of the food is always beautiful, great service, many choices and food is ABSOLUTELY delicious! You have to try her Labneh cheese appetizer! It was so good I forgot to take a picture!! Your hummus is so delicious and after your meal they give u a free little Baklava! Sitting is tight and their ALWAYS full, but waiting is not so long and believe it is worth it!! Love the whole decor!
