"The Depot Restaurant and Lounge in Shenandoah, Iowa is GREAT! It is not the Ritz, but there are five stars in every other aspect. The depot is a piece of Americana that you should not miss, the food is fantastic (if you find a restaurant that makes the world class Chicken Fried Steak and it fits with a homemade beer, then you know that you have found a great one). I lived in Shenandoah for 14 years and my family ate in the depot on many occasions of service and the food was great. My ex-husband and I also went to shoot pool and listen to music. It has a great atmosphere
