"If I had the ability to give zero stars I would but I cannot. My husband and I have been coming to this east wind since our first date 6 years ago. We have celebrated so many of our firsts and times with family and friends here and the food has always been amazing, service has been wonderful and we have always left beyond happy. The last two times that we have been in the quality of food has been not good but on Sunday when we went in to have dinner the food was actually bad. I have ordered the bento b every time and the chicken was undercooked the food was way more spicy than normal plus multiple other issues and my husband's hakata ramen was so spicy be couldn't eat it. They do such a great job. Prices are reasonable, quality is superb. One of the best mid priced sushi joints in town. Highly recommend!

Got here after work and easily got in. Got my water, Miso soup and sushi roll fairly quickly. Also my water glass stayed filled. Then got my Bento box. It was supernormous! Good food! Atmosphere was nice. I do recommend this place!

I purchased take-out food from East Wind on 03/03/2022. After starting to eat their fried rice my husband found a long black human hair! I called and spoke to the manager. When I told him what had happened this was his exact comments: Well, we do have humans working, they do have hair and we do have fried rice....ha ha ha ha. Yeah...he laughed. When I asked for his name he hung up on me. Now an hour and a half later, we 're both nauseous. I have filed a complaint with the Maricopa County Health Department! NEVER EVER eat here!

"I visited this restaurant during the busy lunch rush before heading to surgery. There was a 25-minute wait for food, which was going to make it difficult for me to eat anything within the 15-minute window before my surgery. However, the manager on duty was understanding and promptly provided me with soup broth so that I could eat before the cut-off time. "Not sure how Durant 's gets to be rated best of Phoenix so many years in a row. From entering the restaurant through the kitchen which creates a breeding ground for bacteria to the old school dreary, dated dining room....not a palatable and welcoming environment. Then the sticker shock of the menu. $15-18 for iceberg lettuce salads? $80 for 12 oz filet. This is mainstay Phoenix, not New York City. Waiter was ok. Food was under seasoned.When we said we couldn 't have any of the potato choices as an included side, we asked for a vegetable. We were charged extra. End of the meal we weren 't asked if we wanted coffee. Won 't return. So many better choices in the area."

"The following night, we tried two other restaurants but were not given good service at either place, even though they were not busy. We ended up back at The Arrogant Butcher because we knew we would receive top-notch service. Graham, our server this time, recommended the spinach and artichoke dip (as Stephanie had) and we also tried the burrata radiatore and BBQ short ribs. The food was once again fantastic, and the service was exceptional. If you find yourself in Phoenix, be sure to stop by The Arrogant Butcher for an unforgettable dining experience."

"If you are looking for vegetarian comfort food, then Pita Jungle is the right place. With its extensive menu there are several veggie meals and page options. It is also one of the few places in Phoenix that sells a Veggie burger with Portobello fungal cap in contrast to an eagerly processed soy or cornpatty. No complaints about the ratio of quantity to costs. Fill me up. Desserts are good. But the food is oily."
