"The ambiance was marginal. The decor was sparse and dark. Lighting was stark. The food was adequate. My pasta was barely warm. I sent it back to be reheated. The taste of the pasta was good! The wine pairing with the pasta was excellent! My husband’s ribeye was tasty, the vegetable was very crunchy."

"We love the Vintage House. It did not disappoint us. The food was fabulous and the variety in the menu was great. Our waitress was new but did a fantastic job. I love being able to make a reservation. Of all the Messina Hof locations, the one in Bryan is the best. It’s nice but not stuffy. You can go in casual business or game day attire. The view is so pretty and relaxing. Great photo opportunities. Don’t miss this gem- you’ll want to go back once you’ve tried it"

"This is a small friendly Mexican restaurant. I stopped for breakfast a weekend and it was all very good. You bring fresh chips and two salsas when you arrive. The authentic house style salsa was a little watery for my taste, but what I would call the traditional red restaurant salsa was very good. I have two potato and egg tacos with some add-ins. These are big tacos, and I would have been good with one, but I ate them both. Simple, fresh and homemade food. I recommend it."

"This was our third time to Ronin. The first two times were great. This trip was not as good we were celebrating my daughters birthday and if we had known we would have gone elsewhere. I think it all was due to the fact that they were severely understaffed. The server could not be attentive because he was spread way too thin. It took so long to get our drinks and they did not come out all at once. Everything seemed to come out in piecemeal they were really struggling to keep up. It kind of put a damper on what should have been a high end experience. The three people who were working the front were doing the very best that they could, it’s not their fault at all. The owners need to either ensure adequate staffing or limit their reservations to ensure all diners have a good experience."

"I'm recreating. I called and spoke to Allison and she was very helpful and could adapt our February assignment before she was sent out. She even helped me get wines to try it. Thanks again! Staff at this place are helpful, but “Back Office” could be less for your “VIP” membership. Brooke at this point was great, and so the other curvy blonde partner was here. They were very helpful and the wines were delicious and decently expensive, so we decided to join the wine club... The only recommendation I would add is to have a sign or a kind of structure, so people know where to go for tours and tasting, etc. Everyone was kind of just waiting in line to get help and wonder where to go. And when we tried some of the wines, we were always interrupted and skipped for the people who had tours... I would imagine that this would come practically on busy days like weekends.. Well, the reason for the 3 stars is that the “back office” communication is not so big... When we originally registered for the wine club, we were not aware that the quarterly delivery should be sent within the following days. After talking to Brooke, they recommend that we come to the Backoffice team to see if we could skip the first assignment as we bought 6 bottles on that day. Unfortunately, they could not skip our first shipment without charging a fee (according to the brochure). I created an online account and found their website for more information about the wine club assignments, shipping data, etc. and could not find anything. I reached the “VIP” email and they were not too helpful.. I have just the automated email that says that our shipment has been confirmed and that I would have received previous information about the assignments and about the collection parties that I have not.. I have also asked to switch over the kind of wine club/allocations we receive, and I'm just waiting to hear back. Once again, more communication would be very appreciated. We have been loyal customers of Grape Creek Vineyards for years until we decided to try another place, and now we are not sure if this is the place for us. I don't like the idea of paying for wine that we don't like, and the lack of communication/information also doesn't help."
