"Stumbled upon this restaurant because I had a taste for Mexican food but wanted to avoid a Saturday night crowd. Nice decor, attentive servers. Ordered a mojito, tostones and a mixed grill dish. The mojito was among the best I've ever had. The tostones were out of this world. Full disclosure, I normally prefer my platanos yellow, sweet and slightly burnt. The tostones were crisp and the garlic sauce slapped! Glad I followed that impulse to order them. The mixed grill was steak, pork and chicken with yellow rice and black beans. Rice and beans were delicious; meats were good but I would have liked the chicken and steak to have had a bit more char on them. Even though the meal was not perfect...

I was there on March 14th when all reviews from the same family stated they had a bad experience. This was inaccurate and completely due to them complaining about the spicy guacamole. The menu clearly states that jalapenos are in the guacamole. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. They needed to state they didn't want spice in their order and the restaurant would have accommodated. These are kind of people that hinder prosperity when it comes to local restaurant s. I hope you come in on your own and decide for your self.
