"Arrived for dinner at 8, it was quite busy and was informed of same upon arrival. A bit slow to get drink orders out but since it was slammed that was ok. My drink was quite tasty (the cherry oh baby), boyfriend didn’t quite enjoy...his (expected a stronger whiskey drink vs the sweet one he got but that’s what you get when you order the unknown). Ordered olives and feta with extra bread, it was good. A bit surprised I was charged 4$ extra for a little bread where anywhere else would’ve just sent some out as there’s quite a large portion of dip to bread ratio. Friends ordere scallops, I think they were 13$? Two medium and one tiny scallop on some purée? Def not worth it. Brussels sprouts loo...

Good variety of food choices.. Nice presentation. tasty and good portion. Great decor with pics of musicians all over the place . A lovely boutique hotel. Love their fish tacos

Great atmosphere, staff, food and drinks with reasonable prices. Stayed at the hotel and a perfect place to dine. First time I could easily hear and enjoy the great music but could also hear my wife talk without shouting like other loud restaurants. We’ll be...back, LOVED the scallops appy, and paella main!

The tenderloin was excellent and cooked as requested but two ordered duck, but no duck. Had to order moose lasagna which arrived only warm with cheese not even melted. Had to send back for microwave and even then was dry and tasteless. Lesson learned, don’t...order something from a big pan made earlier in the day and then served after a quick microwave warmup. Desserts were generous size and tasty. Ordered a whiskey drink and charged extra to make with bourbon instead of the premium rye advertised. Menu was limited as one diner doesn’t do fish. "Crème de la Cocoa was amazing to work with start to finish! The tasting was fantastic and they were always quick to respond to answer questions and make changes to our proposal. All of their cakes and desserts are delicious! We went with the Florida native flavor for our wedding cake. The cake was simple and beautiful just like we wanted. We also did a second fun cake and went with the salted caramel crunch. They made such a cute and creative rivalry cake. The cakes looked and tasted amazing and were a huge hit at our wedding. Thank you Crème de la Cocoa!"

"We are locals here in St Augustine, so we have enjoyed the BlackFly numerous times. Their menu has changed, but there are still plenty of wonderful dishes to select from. Our party of three adults ordered the Bread Basket, which was good; we also ordered 2 appetizers of the Chili-Lime Shrimp, which are in my opinion THE BEST appetizer on the menu. My husband ordered the Filet, I ordered the Grilled Scallops over butter herb pasta, and my friend ordered the Sweet Tea Pork-chops, followed by a slice of Key Lime pie. EVERYTHING was amazing!! The only improvement we could suggest would have been a more attentive waitstaff. My friends tea glass became empty, we had to flag our waiter down after a long wait; Then the waitstaff forgot to bring out the refilled tea… Later on, our water glasses were empty, again after a long wait, we again had to catch his attention to ask for refills. Which he did refill, but with zero ice. Luke warm water… As far as noise level, this visit was much more enjoyable as compared to our past visit when the noise level was so “Energetic” that our table of 4 could not hear each other… so the evening wasn’t enjoyable. This evening we were pleased with the softness of sound."

"I was very disappointed. 75% of us got food poisoning from dinner. I came to the restaurant and they never answered. Do not order the rabbit, unless they want to throw up the night (we were not the only ones, either because it was thrown onto the toilet of the men). the shrimp-creole soup was quite blande and during the lobster was perfect the lobster ravioli was understated."
