"I don 't like sushi. At least I thought I didn 't like sushi until I went to Fighting Fish and ate their sushi. Wow! The only thing better than admiring the beautifully plated dishes is eating the beautifully plated dishes. We arrived at Happy Hour and took advantage of the Happy Food $5 each for Furikake Fries and Mini Flaming Tuna Nachos that were unbelievably great. The Tiger Tempura Roll was fantastic, as was the Tuna Love Roll and the Ruby Roll. Every dish was excellent and was served with a small bowl of Miso Soup. I am so happy that I went out of my comfort zone and tried the delicious food at Fighting Fish. I can emphatically now say, I love sushi!"

Don’t judge a restaurant by its cover. I must admit when I was driving to find parking (while looking for the restaurant) I didn’t see anything that stood out like eat here. Until, I walked in and was impressedThe waiter/ bartender was very helpful and friendly. For my meal I had the salmon wontons and the soft shell crab sushi, I recommend this place!

This was our first time at this location (Our last visits had been to their smaller restaurant downtown). Lovely, subtly upscale (candle light, fabric napkins, sparkly lights visible from the mirrors) with spots of humor. Happy hour specials from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. were tasty perfect for 2 to share. Our family remembers Fighting Fish mostly because of their sushi burritos... we will continue coming for them!We were there for our 34th anniversary and were surprised that they brought us each mochi...yum! Parking: We were able to find a municipal lot 2 blocks away.
