"Filipino food is one of my favorite cuisines and Flip Sigi is a cool, fusion addition to the genre available in NYC. The place itself has a great casual vibe with indoor and semi outdoor seating that makes it a nice place to stop by on a Thursday or Friday evening with good weather.The bang for the buck for the Cali burrito cannot be beat. It's stuffed with goodies and the chicken adobo inside is super tasty and some of the best I've had. It's a solid, filling and affordable meal. Highly recommend dipping it in the spicy sauce for the full experience.The pork belly taco was disappointing though. There was not enough pork and the egg was overpowering. Solid and fun Filipino fusion! Got an assortment of tacos the meat quality was great, the fillings were super flavorful, and it was a perfectly cheesy, greasy, balanced taco!! 3 tacos was pretty filling since they were heavy. Everything was assembled as we ordered so it was hot and fresh! They have an ample amount of outdoor seating which is great too! Highly rec!!

"I had a salmon burrito with kale and a taro milk tea. My friends had a mango smoothie and a mango milk tea. The drinks were delicious, salmon a little dry. The staff don't talk much, everything is ordered on the screen, but they are eager to help. The prices add up quickly if you're not careful."

"My friends and I decided to check out Mint Heights at 6pm on a Friday. The restaurant doesn't seat too many parties maybe ~10? , and it was half full when we got there. It's a casual setting with a warm, familial ambiance, though the staff are dressed formally. When we left at 7:20, the restaurant was fully packed.I was pretty hungry and forgot to take pictures, but we got butter chicken $16 , chicken saagwala $16 , malabar salmon $18 , and 1 order of plain naan $4 and 1 order of garlic naan $5 . Rice is served communally. The curries of all the dishes had excellent flavor, and everyone really enjoyed their food. The naan was fluff, moist, and cooked without charring. The two things I did not care for about my saag was that there were 2 cardamom pods, and the portion size was small for the price. There were about 4 cubes of chicken in the dish cooked pretty well , meaning I could have finished it in 4 bites.Service was fantastic! Our waters never went past half empty, there were constant check-backs, and plates were brought and cleared efficiently. The waitstaff were also extremely kind and hospitable. If you are in the area, I would recommend checking out Mint Heights!"
