"We have just moved to the area and look forward to exploring the local restaurants. At this point 20 minutes from home. My first words when I entered were like this place. We sat at a table on our request. What a wonderful view! We ordered beer and dinner. I'm not a big beer, but the hemp was good. Dinner on the other side was fantastic! The fish and chips were great and my husband said the fish tacos were some of the best he ever had. We shared a caramel brownie sunflower for dessert and that was also delicious. The service was good, sometimes a little slow, but they were pretty busy. We will definitely be back, hopefully a little later in the evening to see the lights of Seattle over the...

Whenever we are on Bainbridge, we think at the Port Public House as a beautiful cold-tasteful beer. Here it is the end of September and it was a nice hot summer day with the terrace open. Great food, even better beer. Two thumbs up!

Location and view are exceptional. To this friendly staff, good food and clever cocktails... You have a winner! We had fish chips and smoked meat loaf poutins....both were delicious, but the smoked meat loaf poutins were worth it home over

It's getting better. My first visit was kimchi fried rice, yummy and we shared classic poutins, my first pleasure. Last trip was an original burger with Mt Townsend Trufflestack cheese, one of the best burgers ever! Today it was fish and chips. The cod was incredible. Had no fish that was wonderful in years!

"This was a destination restaurant for me and my coworkers, as we enjoy the night playing tourists in Seattle. We took the ferry over to Winslow, and it was a quick cab ride up the hill to Subi. We had a reservation, and since we were early we had to wait a few minutes for our table. Soon we were sitting near the front of the crowded dining room, it was definitely a busy Friday night. Our friendly waitress took the drink orders, and quickly returned with our selections. A group ordered everything from Sashimi to rolls to Ramen, with a couple of salads and of course miso soup as well. All was very good! Test the freshness you would expect at a good sushi place. The prices were a bit high, but then again Winslow is a little more upscale of a place and it is on an island. Enjoyed my hot sake, assorted tuna nigiri, Hamachi, and roll. If you go, get there early enough to give yourself time to explore the cute little town before you head back to the ferry."

"Hidden jewel! My wife and I were at Bainbridge Island for our five-year wedding anniversary. We saw on Google Maps that this place was open for lunch and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. At first it is a bit from the beaten path in a cool little downtown area. The restaurant and the market has a counter from which you order and they bring out your food. My wife's pizza was fantastic with a great chewing crust and tasteful toppings. I also loved my gnocchi with super delicate dumplings. My only regret is that we had no more time!"

"So we were born British, and we ate more than our fair share of British fish and chips over our time before we turned to the states. That was as good as you go to the Pacific Northwest (if you don't go across the Canadian border to White Rock, but I'm digressing... In rough order the fish was the first rate: plump and firm, fleshy and juicy, with a big dough, which is oh so hard to find here. The chips were definitely above the par: a small Craspier when you would find most British chippies, but ready to be doused with vinegar and salt. The muddy peas were an _little_ disappointment, honestly not really muddy, more like a cake. In my opinion, good mushy bases should be more like a sauce, and the whole point is that you cannot really find whole heirs. These had more the consistency of the potato maize, and a bit too minty. But everyone to his own. But all that said is a GREAT fish and chips. Two thumbs from my wife and me!"

"I had another delicious dinner in sawatdy. a daughter and daughter joined and slew it all down. each person ordered one of their favorite hard to choose, since almost all my favorites were marked to one or other time. appetizer kombiplatte is great. crushed noodles, many vegetarian dishes also. all reisnudel so many gluten-free options for those who need to be careful in this look. they can eat their spicy or not, cold dishes and hot. wein and beer also; and try the Thai ice tee. yum. the personal works as a team so they can ask anyone waiter if they need something. Sometimes they are really busy and you almost see them flying past and trying to make everyone happy and they tend to stay open, even with power failure. be patient while they look a miracle and bring them a delicious warm meal! it becomes easier to go home to an unheated house. they also take out. good for play evenings. many have made a party for us. the owner has a fantastic job. their guests will be uh and ahh."
