"We’ve booked a table for 4 on a Thursday evening. When we arrived we saw that the restaurant was about half empty. We were seated at a table that one could easily say to be the least privileged one, whereas most of the “good” tables -close to the window- were empty. We asked if there is another table available and got the answer that “they were all reserved! Lovely view, great food and very good service. I had the special menu which was very well executed with matching wines which were perfect. The staff were super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job despite the difficult COVID situation. Lovely view of the Alster from the huge windows. Not cheap but worth it!

From almost all table you have a wonderful view on the Alster with small boats passing by. It adds to the atmosphere and the food is excellent. We had tuna tartar and mussels and yellowtail. The dishes were tasty, the wines by the glass were excellent. We saw many people eat the rack of lamb and steaks I suppose those are good too! Our server was a bit unexperienced, but in the end it worked out fine.
