"Went on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch we were the ONLY people there. The waiter brought us up to the roof top we waited 10 minutes just for water (it was 90 degrees outside).Even taking our order he took mine then started walking away before taking my husbands order. While waiting for our food the waiter didn’t check on us and didn’t refill our drinks ONCE. We had to go inside to the server station to get condiments. Then after eating we waited again for him to show up before we had to physically go downstairs to find him for our check. Unfortunately we won’t be back after this experience."

Came here with a friend and had Shannon as our server, she and the food were absolutely amazing! Being a southern belle, hospitality is important to me and my expectations were blown away! Will be coming back!Food: 5/5

I rated it three because the waitress was really nice. The fried calamari was very greasy and fight and chewy. I ordered clams in white wine it was just ok and it was not warm. My friend ordered a lobster roll and she said it was nothing special. Only one couple was there at lunch time on a Wednesday. Don’t think I’ll come back here again!

We were seated on the covered roof top with a view of the Hudson. The food was very good. We had mussels in garlic and wine sauce a spinach artichoke mushroom dip which was excellent. Our waiter Ray was great attentive, friendly just a great waiter. Our Busboy was also fantastic, I didn’t get his name. It was my birthday and they surprised with May favorite ice cream “tartufo”. I definitely am going back and suggest you try it.

"this was the second time that we at blue hill at stone barns had eaten (the first was about a year ago) our second visit was not so funny, because we first knew that the routine was brought out a dish in a time, an excursion to somewhere else (kitchen, special room with compost part away through the meal. but also, it was disappointing to see some of the same things on the menu as we did last time. yes, it was the almost the same time of the year, but surely a restaurant of this caliber can be more creative and sometimes they were something too creatiw at this visit. we were served a melon that had been fermented. with the first (and last bite, I said to my man, that tastes just like cow manure smell. Now, when we were picked into the compost room for our half of a baby potato, we saw where the fermentation had taken place: in a bag placed in the compost container. ew, that explains, I thought. I also know that you eat seasonal at stone barns, but the menu was very, very hard on beds, squash and parsnips. while the peasant from this world was (please sell to the public in quantity! and the beet sliders were so big that we could have eaten ten more, it was a bit much to have so many sweet sweet sweet sweet at a meeting, especially if you lean on the savory like me. While I would recommend bh at sb one time, I don't think it's worth visiting later, especially if they go near the same season they go ahead. two more observations: 1. the personal is very wonderful. 2.I wouldn't interfere with the deli for lunch. eating is nothing special. also we have a bag of popcorn and it was stale as possible."
