"I had a difficult time with the rating. The food was delicious and our server was great; however, they were out of everything. I intended to order sea bass but was told it was substituted with halibut, which was fine. I was told there were only two halibut left so I ordered ahead of everyone at our table. The most amazing food! We have been there many times. The consistency in the dishes is amazing. The service is always top notch. The restaurant is handicapped accessible for wheelchairs. The only problem is that there is only one handicapped parking space that I can find.

There is a common phrase, you get what you pay for and I received the best meal I 've ever had in my life. Upon ordering the elk, we were told the cook prepares this one way and one way only, medium rare. I 've never had a better cut of meat in my life. It 's worth every penny and I 'll be back for more!

We took a nice weekend to Kilgore. Thank you @texasbucketlist for the presentation of the city! We had no reservations on Saturday night of Derrick Lightning, but could sit on the bar counter with Savannah and she was amazing! We enjoyed their knowledge of the drinks and menu items! We strongly recommend stopping for dinner and drinks Savannah was incredibly outgoing, friendly and excellent at their job with fantastic customer service!
