"We stopped for dinner one night after the visit of Theodore Roosevelt NP. It is a family restaurant, mostly occupied by a family. Nothing beautiful, but it is clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. My wife and I both had a chicken dinner and a cup of soup. The chicken was very good. It was juicy and tender with a non-fat skin. I had the Borscht and my wife had a disgusting soup called knoephla. Both soups were amazing. They use at least two different types of beet in their rupture. I don't know if it is caused by another curing time for the beet, but the color of the two is not the same. This restaurant has the best burgers and chicken my mouth was watering with the smells and there was the best service and jacks had great waiters and waitresses 10/10

I really liked this place. The atmosphere is land, but comforting. The staff was quite friendly and the food came out quite quickly, although we came after lunch. Thy managed to clean up and very well, although there were only two servers at that time. The food was very good, nothing extravagant, just simple and well done.

I have cooked meal and atmosphere throughout the city for a good house... I should have been looking here first! Not only is it the best fried chicken, freshly made pages, and homemade ranch, which might be the best ive ever cost, but Jack personally takes my order and ensures the quality of my order. After telling me some great stories, he personally asked the kitchen to throw some extras for me to try the delicious. Read my other reviews.... I am not always the easiest to please and I have high expectations of service and Jack's restaurant has met or exceeded all. Five out of five.

"Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! Making the bookings online was easy and quick. The staff were all polite, attentive and professional from the moment we went in the door and were greeted by a wonderful host who sat directly at our table. Within minutes we were brought a variety of warm fresh bread with oil and vinegar. Our waitress, Tara and the Junior waitress (I'm not sure of their name or title) were both amazing. We were in a variety of very good restaurants throughout the country and this is definitely in our Top 10! Ribeye and salmon were cooked and seasoned for perfection! We just walk through North Dakota on the way through the country, but if we were local, it would be our goto! If you get the opportunity to visit this restaurant, don't give it up!"

"Our family was on a 12 day roadtrip across the west and North Dakota was our last stop before heading back to MN. We love Mexican food and on our last night, decoded to go have a nice sit diem dinner after days of precooked meals and sandwiches on the road. This restaurant is a gem. I ordered the chicken flaunts, which are hard to find at restaurants as they are hard to make. I knew as soon as I walked in, this place will be amazing. We probably went through 3 basket of Chios and salsa. It was fresh and tasty. The salsa had a good balance of spice and zest. Both my boys ordered the chicken enchiladas. My youngest kid always says I make the best enchiladas and for him this place was very close to being as good as mom's (I did not pay him to say that either! My oldest, who can probably eat Mexican food everyday, said the enchiladas were really good. I have to add that I asked for spicy hot sauce. Our server brought me a bowl of their homemade sauce. Omg! It was so tasty and spicy. I could drink it if I could! The beans were well seasoned. The rice were a tad overseasoned. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. If we ever drive through Dickinson ND again, we will definitely stop here again."

"For an event they were in the Oktoberfest. They played fun and entertaining games, had some great drinks specialties, and dinner; Sausage, weed potatoes was dinner! We had a group of 6, had excellent food and service. The waitress was very attentive, the manager held several times to see and chat. We all had an excellent evening. Thank you. Players!"

"Great service, great food! It's usually at least a little busy, but there's good reason for it, and you'll still get good food service. I believe our servers name was Jack ?? [Could be WAY off. Date was Sunday, 4/1 Young kid, super friendly, great sense of humor, awesome server! Definitely worth stopping for breakfast here. I've only ever ordered from the breakfast menu, so I can't speak to the lunch/dinner, but based on breakfast the rest is probably worth a try."
