"Let me start by saying the servers are always friendly and you can tell they 're working hard. They deserve better from the owner. I 've heard from more than one previous employee that they had to leave due to low hours and low pay. The food has gone downhill and sadly the owner is clearly nickel-and-diming wherever he can to the point it 's just too overpriced for what you get. This place just has a really good breakfast. Pancakes are great. Sausage is cooked right. Eggs come out like you want them. When you say extra crispy hash browns they come out extra crispy.. Kid friendliness: Lots of kids there

"Visited the Mesquite Pit for Saturday lunch. Ordered the Armadillo eggs (very tasty brisket stuffed fried jalapenos) to start, followed by st. Louis style ribs. Party also got chopped beef and pork chop. All the entrees were delicious. Of the sides, themashed potatoes, onion rings, and green beans were standouts. And the bread is delicious! Awesome atmosphere and huge portionswill not disappoint. 5/5 can't wait to return."

"rip mambo didn't have our reservation and the hostesses didn't know what was open table. the Sunday breakfast food was mediocre, but they wait staff sing a nice, fun happy birthday song with a party sombrero and that was a good fun. again it was eating like that."

"service was good. everyone was really friendly and attentive. eating was also good, but not inexpensive. I have the new york strip and it was $40. the steak came on a bed of arugala like I ordered an salat. I've never been in a restaurant and ordered a steak that came out in a misleading layer. especially when it was $40. my wife got the cacio e pepe and it was $65. that's right $65 for pasta that's in cheese. I'd rather have gone to the olive garden. I would probably have spent less than half of the geld and eating would have been just as good if not better."

"Everything tasted great and was cooked wonderful. The 29. House Special Lo Mein was fantastic because the meat was so tender and soft and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Im a little disappointed that theyre lo mein noodles are literally spaghetti noodles but I would still order again."

"Our party of three arrived about 4:45 today. The girl at the hostess podium told us she was not the host,but would find him. At least 5 minutes passed, while other parties also walked in to the lobby area. Still nobody. Finally a young man arrived and asked us if we had been helped. We told him no. He guided us to the upper area and seated us. We then watched for about 10 minutes while the numerous waitresses on both sides of the bar chatted with customers at the bar, showed each other apparently funny things on their phones, and sipped on their personal drinks They locked eyes with us, but no one ever came over to take our drink order. The place was not busy at all. Now I know why. The food was marginal at best on our last visit. Thought we'd give it another try, but now we're done. Walked over to Downtown Cantina and spent our $85 over there. Service: Dine in Service: 1"
