"Faux French food served at obscene prices, after which you are cheated on your bill. The food here is strictly mediocre at best. I could not believe how dry, tough and tasteless my rack of lamb was. However, the poor quality of the food is not the worst of it. I was horrified to see the total amount on our bill, so I tried reading the itemized receipt. First time having french food and it was delish! Had the lobster ravioli and frog legs. Loved both of the dishes. The new manager Michael was a great host and waiter. He was very attentive and friendly. Even gave my husband and I a glass of champagne on the house for looking so dressed up. Will def go back again!

Loveeee this restaurant, it?s a gem to say the least. We were introduced to it about a year ago by some good friends that have been going there for 45 years. The ambiance, the service, the food is above 5 stars. The owner and the waiters go above and beyond to make you feel special. The food?? delicious and fresh!! This is our once a month date night with my hubby.

The salmon in coconut white wine sauce served with dark cherries is amazing. Complex flavor pairings on a plate totally unseen before coming here. The cream sauce they make for the soufflé is a labor not many restaurants go through it takes 36 eggs or so. The Marsala mushrooms and sweetbreads are another great traditional flavor to look forward to and try. The poached pear is very visually appealing. Everything here is made from scratch except the Ice cream I give this place 5 stars. A must try on Ventura that has existed since the 70s.
