"My husband and I made a conscious journey to Sadlers for Beef Wellington. We even called in advance. We love Filet Mignon but never tried Beef Wellington. It was perfectly cooked medium Rare as ordered. It looked beautiful. After a few bites in my husband and I looked at us. We tried to distinguish the mushrooms under the crust, but it wasn't. It was a playful tasting. It was the meat itself. At $37 per meal I expected a little more until freshness and taste. The mashed potatoes had no potato taste. They lubricated like watery instant potatoes. The fresh vegetable medal and potatoes were perfect. The bread was good, but it would have been nicer if it had served warm so that the chilled butter leaves would melt. Our server was warm and showed concern, but we're older and didn't want to complain. We left a 18% tip. It's a nice, friendly restaurant. We will come back, but will definitely try another escape next time. Thank you."

"For pizza we drive from East Hampton and drive almost every time to Village Green. It is fantastic with its delicious seasoned sauce and delicious crust. Recently the chicken bacon Ranch had white pizza and it was also great. We needed a while to try something other than pizza, because it is so good, but the scallops about linguini, chicken parmesan, penne a la vodka and manicotti are all just as brilliant. Let me finally mention that their cut beef and lamb gyros are the best around....almost as good as Tarpon Springs!"

"The two stars are for the waitress who was prompt, warm and efficient. The pizza is another story. We ordered two small pizzas and both had very burned crust, soil and rim were badly burned, burned cheese and practically no sauce. No taste, except burned fat. Was the sauce applied with an eyedropper? Try the worst pizza we've ever served.... look home to feed the birds. We're not coming back."

"Very disappointed. I make better food myself. The $10 cocktail was mediocre. The crock of onion soup was light on onions and flavor. Tasted like the cook had watered down the soup to stretch it and keep from having to cook fresh. The French Fries wereburnt to a crisp with many small end pieces, not full fries. The French dip sandwich was on an over toasted baguette with apoorly seasoned dipping sauce. My friend's chicken pot pie was OK with a decent crust but a lackluster filling. My friend haseaten there 3 times and been disappointed with the food all 3 times. The only good things were the given appetizer bread basketwith warm bread and olive oil, the glass of wine and thankfully the food was NOT over salted. There is plenty of free parking.Also for December there is a 15% discount for lunch but don't know that compensated for the poor quality cooking/food).Service was slow only one server for the entire restaurant who kept forgetting to get us things, the bread basket, our drinks,dessert). The waitress was totally courteous, just distracted and I think overwhelmed even though the restaurant wasn'tanywhere near full. My responsibility as a customer is to give accurate ratings. If a business provides good tasting, wellprepared food at a good price with good service they will receive a 4 or 5 star review. I am not obligated to support yourbusiness with a positive 4 or 5 star review if you aren't doing a good or excellent job. An owner/ chef/ cook who is sendingout burnt fries, dried out, over toasted sandwich bread and watered down probably left over) soup has already told me theydon't care about me, the customer, or doing a good job with their business or reputation in the community. I would rather go toSadler's or Village Green Pizza Restaurant where I get good tasting, well prepared food, good service and a good attitude . Iknow what tastes good and this is America where I am free to share my honest and accurate opinions. And I'"
