"I've been here 2x's...and after the 2nd time I definitely will not be returning. The first time I walked up to the counter and said good morning...silence. I waited for a few beats. I said it again b/c maybe my mask muffled the sound it didn't). Still nothing. Finally someone said yes..I was turned off but still ordered my bagel. I was ordering a coffee elsewhere. So I went to counter to pay and the guy just said no, you need more stuff to pay by card. I have no problem with that but he was hella rude. Now, I decided to go back today. I ordered stuffed grape leaves.... they were the driest, most disgusting things I’ve ever eaten. I was almost unable to stick my fork into one of them. I had to eat two since I was starving but oh my god, never again. sort of rude customer service.

Really, Really expensive. Small wrap turkey sandwich $9.95. Used to be a little higher than the other deli's in the area but it was worth uit. Not any longer, I am afraid to say. You can walk one block in the opposite direction and get the same sandwich for $3 less, no wonder it was no very busy at lunchtime

"I have been to Maya many times . I was here for the bottomless brunch today and had an amazing experience. The standout food items were the Chicken Fajitas, Maya Dogs, Shrimp Enchiladas, Sweet Plantains, and the Mini Waffles. I opted to have the Maya Mimosa which is a delicious combination of blood orange and passion fruit purée mixed with sparkling wine. Andrew our server went above and beyond. "We were disappointed to see that the menu items advertised on the website were not available. Also we made a reservation earlier this day that they were not ready. We had to wait for our table. I know things happen, but I was disappointed. I said on the reservation that we were celebrating a new job and there was no recognition by the numerous servers we seemed to be. Food was decent, but there are other more hospitable places in the area."

"Excellent beers on tap. Great selection of microbrews available under the bar. Beers change frequently enough to keep it interesting. Menu of brats, pretzels and spicy pies pair well with the drinks and are done extremely well! For those that don’t drink beer there are some wines on tap and a curated selection of spirits. The decor is classy but you’ll be comfortable no matter what you wear. Did I mention this is black owned? Def one of my new favorite bars!"

"Great spot for a date. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food as well as the drinks. Evan our server was 10/10 all around amazing service and experience. Carbonara and Pesto pasta were amazing.
