"this place was the most atrocious establishment i've ever laid my eyes on. first of all, the stench was crazy. it reeks of cat **** and homeless woman's feces. the service was subpar as well as the food but i oddly loved it. the food was so bad that it was good. it felt like i was a young child needing to fend for myself and i felt comfortable again. thank you Mikes Italian Kitchen for the nostalgic annual feel. aroma. vibe if you will. but, that being said, NEVER EAT HERE. IT WAS TERRIBLE, THE CURRY HERE GAVE MY INFANT DIRRAREAH. IT GAVE ME RASHES IN WHICH I NEEDED ITCH CREAM TO TREAT. if this could be given a negative138 star review i think i'd give it."

Not impressed. Ordered from here excited because they offered gluten free but it was a huge let down. I ordered chicken parm which looking at the picture online looked amazing. What I ended up with is a $26 piece of grilled chicken, light sauce, no cheese at all and mush for noodles. I'm beyond upset. So much money for something I could have made at home for $5. Will never go back if this is what they consider good allergy safe food

Mediocre... everything about this place is now run of the mill. It's a middling Italian restaurant. All the food is good not great and a bit overpriced for what you get. Our meal was with four people and we split two appetizers, the calamari and the meat balls. Meat balls were good and calamari was run of the mill (a bit chewy). For dinner I had the Mikes pizza. First off it's not a pizza, it's a flat bread. Again the pizza was just ok. Drinks were tasty if a bit weak. All in all it's a big step down from when it was MY's local!

Our visit here wasn't planned as we initially went to surf (the sister restaurant across the street) to dine. Unfortunately it was packed and the wait was long enough that the hostess offered Mike's. She called Mikes and we were able to head over. Dinner was pleasantly surprising. The octopus appetizer had to be my favorite dish I had. We also tried the scallops, cacio pepe, the fish and seafood linguine. I had some overcooked seafood for my linguine and the scallops were over cooked and a bit bland which is why I gave 4 stars. Service was excellent and made our experience even more pleasant. I would absolutely return to try more things.
