"I haven 't visited this location since it was Crust prior to that restaurant closing amidst the Covid 19 pandemic. I 'd seen Mio Russo and Coffee Apothecary spring up in it 's place since moving back to the Quad Cities and amidst some last minute holiday shopping, decided to stop in to try Mio Russo.The interior is strikingly different from the Crust that I remember. The low lighting and muted browns and beiges have been replaced with sharper red and while coloring throughout, with black chairs, bar, and seating across the space. I ordered delivery. 1st time trying the pizza. It's phenomenal! Super cheesy, perfect buttery crip bottom of Detroit style.

Yikes, where to start? Came in for the first time and not one person said hello or greeted us. A girl with curly reddish hair just barked at us saying “sit wherever”. Um ok, thanks. Threw menus down at the table without saying anything else, then our waiter comes over (he was nice at least) and explains that they don’t have any pizza sauce at the moment so we either wait 30 mins extra or get something without pizza sauce. Running out of pizza sauce! Not sure where the replacement sauce was coming from in 30 mins, Hy Vee I guess? Anyways, kids were hungry so decide to order a pepperoni pizza with Alfredo sauce as a substitute. Comes out about 20 mins later, absolutely COVERED in grease. Reali...

"Me and my friend decided to stop into Miss Phay for a quick lunch. The atmosphere in Miss Phay is possibly the best in the QC, and it is very welcoming. "While this restaurant has an upscale atmosphere, unfortunately, we didn’t feel that the food followed through. Our table ordered the filet trio, the 14 ounce ribeye, and the Parmesan crusted NY strip. All of our steaks were cooked well to the appropriate temperature and looked delicious, but the ribeye was thin, and the Parmesan crust on both the strip and one of the filets was just a little over the top for us. The crust itself just wasn’t what we were expecting and there was quite a lot of it. The garlic mash I had with my strip I thought was pretty good. Creamy, though a bit heavy on the garlic. The others at the table felt it was too much like a purée consistency and not quite a mash. A lot of other reviews say the steaks are overpriced and I have to agree there, especially for the ribeye. The strip was probably the best steak we ordered— a little over an inch thick and tender, but the ribeye was probably 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick and we were questioning whether it was actually a full 14 ounces. The side of lobster mac cheese, however, was very good. Now, this is being really not-picky here, but I even felt that the Caesar salad was a little lack luster. A majority of the romaine in my salad was slightly brown on the edges, but I really liked the dressing and the croutons. All this being said, this was our first time here. We really can’t speak to the quality of the Italian offerings here, so maybe those dishes really are the stars at this establishment. I can say with certainty, though, that we are unlikely to return for steak. We would maybe consider trying something else here if we’re ever back in the area."

"July 2, 2023 1 out of 15 meals was complete, correct, or served properly. One darn meal! Spent $600 for 14 incomplete meals. Service lady was kind, courteous and apologetic. Last count, the resturant had 6 others tables also dining on this day, so they were not packed and stacked. Arrived 6:09 ordered relatively promptly 6:48 PM. Last ordered arrived 8:55 PM. Whoever was plating the meals, clearly was asleep at the wheel, blew the entire assignment. Those who ordered sirloin burgers, received half cooked, under prepared, underwhelming meals. Salads with little dressing, fries that had been warmed and warmed again. The salmon entree with mashed potatoes! I feel bad for the potatoes, whoever made that dish should not be on the detail. Cold and lumpy! Oddly enough, the serving plate was very warm to the touch. Fyi, the salmon sandwich is not, nor should it be juicy. How do you not put cheese on a cheeseburger "
