"They are doing everything just right.. Yes, the service was a little slow yesterday, as the owner kept her smile while prepping salads and desserts for five tables by herself, as her husband cooked all the entries by himself. This is a family operation. Their food is wonderful. I had a wheel of brie cheese that was sliced in half, stuffed with deli ham slices, and sauteed in a frying pan. What a decadent wow taste that was! The place was just excellent in every way. Everything about it exceeded expectations."

WOW! Fantastic and authentic German food in Helen. Little mom pop restaurant off the strip. Well worth your time to find it. You will be happy. Yum!

Husband and wife team. Food is great but service can take a while as it's a two person team. Only 4 tables in the restaurant so you may need to make a reservation. They do not serve alcohol.

The food here was incredible! The place is very small (5 tables I think inside) and was nearly full when we arrived. It did take a while to get food but definitely worth the wait!! Service was good. Chicken schnitzel, fried cheese and the chicken in mushroom sauce plates were excellent!
