We found out about Muscarella's via word of mouth from a stranger in a dept. store when asking about a good restaurant to go to for a wedding anniversary. We were surprised to get arecommendation for a restaurant that is 40 miles away from us in Sharpsville Pa. We made the trip on a Thursday evening arrivingat 6pm and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to be ready as they were all occupied. Tip... when we left at 7 pm, about1/3 of the tables were available so arriving a little after 6 might get you in with less or no waiting. We always enjoy dining at this restaurant so much that we are willing to drive an hour just to eat here! My go-to dishes are usually the lasagna and house-made loose sausage, but this time I decided to try the butternut squash ravioli special. It was absolutely delicious, especially with the sautéed sage complementing the squash. I also tried their crème brûlée for the first time and it was flawless. I highly recommend their cannolis and the meat and cheese board as well.

I absolutely adored this restaurant. The drinks were potent and packed with delicious flavors. The bartender was attentive and on top of his game. The bar stools were spacious and incredibly comfortable. For an appetizer, I ordered the mussels which were all plump and full of tasty meat, and the wine sauce was so good I could have drank it. I also tried the 40 clove chicken (I think that's what it was called) served over angel hair pasta. Pros: We loved the ambiance of the restaurant, and the Caesar dressing had a rich, garlicky creaminess that we enjoyed. The Wedding Soup was fantastic. I ordered a chef's special dish that was filled with seafood, and the crispy fish and shrimp were delicious. Cons: The server seemed to neglect us once we opted not to order alcohol.
