"The Lunch crowd was flowing and most tables full.. The Waitress was well mannered, professional and efficient, considering the mass of lunch goers The stuffed crab plate was absolutely delicious, must better than a competitor across the interstate. THE EGGPLANT SHRIMP WAS DELICIOUS. THE BATTER ON THE FRIED SHRIMP WAS GREAT. THE CHOCKEN FRIED STEAK WAS SERVED FRESH HOT. AS WERE ALL THE MEALS. THE PRICES WERE MORE THAN FAIR REASONABLE. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE TASTE FRESHNESS OF EACH ENTREES BETTER THAN ANY OTHER COMPETITOR ACROSS THE INTERSTATE, THIS RESTAURANT IS EASY TO GET TOO. MORE SCENIC PICTURESQUE WITH LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW. THAT ALONE MAKES IT THE #1 SPOT OFF OAK HARBOR BLVD. SEE PICS OF ENTRÉE"

"Don't come back. We had a family party tonight. There were so many things. There was a **** that climbed the wall like 2 feet from where we eat. Accompanied by a huge deep hole that awaits a complaint. Formed is the same dish ordered by two persons, one person was torn, the other person got twice the amount of food. The chicken that was ordered by someone at our party was so gracious and terrible. When the owner came and asked how everything was, we told him about these problems, he could be careless. When he told about the ****, he replied to Louisiana?. We're all locals from here. We're not swamp people. If you? restaurant (shown as this) do not expect that crumbs.. and then, when you appeal to the crumbs, the owner lets them go. We all said we wouldn't come back."

"Perfect. This is my absolute favorite type of food, and I haven't been able to have it since moving from GA to TX. It doesn't seem to exist properly in TX. Please come here. We walked in and the smell was immediately recognizable as the delicious food I remember, and I had never even been to this restaurant before. It just means they do it right. Very much enjoyed our meal. As we were leaving, some of the local police officers were headed in for their own dinner...so, that solidified that I picked the right place for dinner on our drive."

"Everything minus the pulled pork is frozen or from a can. The steak bites everyone love precooked marinated steak heat and serve. I know a few people who worked there. I know you use pioneer packet white gravy and brown gravy your gumbo is using a packet roux you add water chicken and sausage to that's not scratch. "Service was Awesome, our server Zach was very efficient and well mannered, non stop service, knowledgeable of menu. THE FOOD HOWEVER WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING, PRESDNTED WELL EYE APPEALING BUT TASTE WAS PRETTY BAD, ESPECIALLY THE OVER STUFFED CRAB, STUFFED WITH TASTELESS DRY BREAD AND SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT CRAB, MIXED SO TIGHT YOU CO U LD HARDLY PIERCE IT WITH A FORK HAD TO COVER WITH TARTAR SAUCE TO ACHIEVE TASTE AND MAKE MOIST THUS GIVE SOME SORT OF FLAVOR.!.THE FRENCH FRIES WERE COLD PITIFUL, VERY SMALL PIECES, HARD/ TOUGH, SEEMED HOURS OLD. THE HUSH PUPPIES were also alittle TIGHT OVER MIXED,CHEWY. SORRY TO SAY I HAVE DINED AT THE ESTABLISHMENT for years and have brought guests here to eat seafood. BUT I WOULD BE TOO EMBARRASSED TO BRING ANYONE HERE UNLESS THE KITCHEN RE WORKs THEIR RECIPE FOR SOME OF THE DISHES OR TEMPORARILY REMOVE THEM OFF MENU...TRUE YOU WILL SEE THAT THE PRESENTATION of the food looks very Eye Appealing BUT that's as far as it goes..TASTE is beyond DISSAPOINTING Costly to the dinning guests...I Know prices are high for Crab meat, but TAKE it off menu UNTIL it's worth some flavor..The Thin Fried Fish is Still a Classic. Very Good. FLAVORFUL BATTER N SPICES. The coleslaw is still tasty too. SEE pics of EYE APPEALING Entrées on some of the dishes BUT beware of lack of taste. HOPE NEXT VISIT WILL YIELD MORE THAN 2 STARS"
