"I usually don?t make google reviews less than five stars, but my experience here warrants one. I?ll start off saying that I had never stepped foot in the establishment prior to my event. There were many reasons I chose this place, but two of the main onesbeing it was close to my venue it had exactly the kind of food I was looking for my event. And let me tell you, the food wasfantastic we had plenty of it. However, the service was definitely lacking. I held my rehearsal dinner here for 40+ people,about 10 of those were kids. We had the downstairs area booked there was a wedding reception happening in the upstairssection. They either had one or two bartenders behind the bar on the main floor...

Great food at reasonable prices. Staff is very attentive and hustled like the other reviewer said. Good drink menu and specials. Patio is super nice for the summer. Nice atmosphere.

High expectations greeted with not so great service. Seemed under-staffed for larger crowd with the Thriller on 38 event, along with Bears game. Upstairs looks cool, but TVs were all off and there was no heat. Building is really nice... exposed brick,industrial. I suspect some lack of communication between owner(s), managers led to this understaffed evening ... I waited at thebar for 30 minutes and was never served. I finally gave up and left. I heard som patrons attempting to dine also got fed up andleft. Quite a shame... place has potential for sure.

"Excellent choice for that special dinner, and even better for the not so special ones. In fact, it will make those even more memorable. Very nice bar area, wonderful wine selection and hundreds of whiskeys to choose from. Niche does a great job of providing an upscale dining experience in a casual setting. Nothing is over the top, except the food. Service is timely and friendly. Appetizers were very nice, in using the Niche burger which almost makes a meal. The halibut and seared lamb entrees were perfect. Niche is centrally located, worth the walk if you're staying in town. You won't be sorry you tried it."

"We were a group of 6 celebrating birthdays. None of us had ever been to Wildwood before, and we had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent, although our server was quite busy and the pace was a bit slow at times, she kept us informed about our order. Overall, we had no complaints. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Wildwood, for a lovely celebration!"

"Very satisfied with our experience here. First, the service was good and you can tell all the staff are pros. Nick is such a sweetheart and truly loved what he was doing (and he said the owners treat him well which is always great to hear). The food was fantastic! Definitely a top steak house in our opinion. The filet was so incredibly tender, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, top 1 or 2 steaks I've ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes are so buttery and yummy! Drink menu had many great selections. We had the cherry amaretto cheesecake and it was a true, homemade from the heart, delicious cheesecake. Our new go-to steak house!"

"This is a small family run business. They have renovated a house and made it in to a restaurant. Love the small, family run feel. Have had several outstanding meals from here. The pasta this last time was amazing, just had lots of leftovers! Can't wait to go back."

"The tacos were unbeatable! I tried the Camote al Pastor (sweet potato sauteed with pineapple morita salsa, onion, cilantro, pepitas, vegan avocado crema and corn tortilla) and Esquites (roasted zucchini with poblano corn, vegan avocado crema, sweet potato crisps and corn tortilla), and both were equally delicious with a generous amount of toppings. The prices on the in-person menu were higher than the online menu, so an FYI. It's also a little hard to find; you have to go up the stairs on the side of the building (we went to the Mexican restaurant next door at first, confused). The outdoor patio is also adjacent to a parking lot, and the chair seating for the patio tables was oddly too high for the table, so the two of us sitting on the sofa seating were looking up at our friend sitting in the chair (it was a little awkward). The service was a bit off the evening we dined here, though. Our waitress was very nice but seemed a bit shy and VERY slow and a little sloppy despite there being just one other table dining when we were there."
