Dined in for lunch with my family. I just got an appetizer- chicken satay with peanut sauce. It was very delicious! The restaurant was clean. Server was very sweet, attentive, but did not speak english which was hard for me to understand and my cousin had to translate in Norwegian. My family had no complaints and pricing is reasonable.

Thai Orchid is my go to joint for noodle soup. Although the Japanese and Vietnamese have come to be famous for their soups, Thai noodle soups is often forgotten. At Thai Orchid, my favorite soup is the tomyum noodle soup with roast pork and fish balls (nr 34). The balance of flavors (savory, sour, sweet, spice) are on point. The pork has also a nice savory flavor unlike other soups where the meats are simple boiled with no savory flavor. Almost authentic thai food, now that it has been a while since I was in Thailand so I 'm not quite sure if I 'm the right person to judge if it is authentic or not. But to be located in Oslo, they totally nailed the taste of my favourite dishes. I use to order Somtam (which is a very popular papaya salad dish) served with sticky rice and fried chicken. 1chili might be super spicy so make sure you know how much you can handle.
