"My brother, his wife and I were traveling to see all of the wonderful sites in South Dakota when we stopped for breakfast. The service was refreshingly wonderful, and the food was amazing! We actually returned for dinner (also delicious), and again the following day for breakfast again. Would recommend to everyone... if I could give it more than 5 stars I would, (all of this was during the COVID fiasco)"

The food was excellent. Our server Theresa was very rude, I understand that she was really busy but that’s no reason to roll her eyes and shake her head after we have asked for more drinks or our deserts. I would have left a bigger tip and five stars on the review if it hadn’t been for the rudeness.

Service was excellent. Only workers wore masks. Muffins were over the top as usual. Love the buy three and get three free option!!!Breakfast was good as well. Nice to have it next to the Grand Gateway motel. Floor was a bit dirty, but because they are open 24 hours, I’m sure it’s difficult to keep up on that.

"My family and I escaped the worst state in the nation, California. I lived in San Diego for 30 years while I was in the Navy. After moving to Rapid City, I didn't expect to good Mexican food. I was wrong! El Sombrero is delicious Mexican food. You don't want to pass this place if you love Mexican food as much as my family and I do. Our new favorite restaurant!"

"My husband and I are both Vegan and tried this restaurant for the 1st time Sept 15th and had the lunch Buffet. We told our host that we were vegan and he kindly showed us all the vegan options on the buffet, which was half the buffet! He then had nann w/o butter brought to our table to have with our lunch. The menu also has a lot of options for vegans and vegetarians. The staff was very friendly and the food was very delicious. Seasoned very well without heat but they are very willing to cook to order. We will be coming again and again. Our new favorite restaurant in Rapid City."
