"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."

"I enjoyed my dinner at Ruth’s and the New York strip was amazing and cooked to perfection. We also had the creamed spinach and lobster Mac and cheese, and the calamari as an appetizer which also were just as good. Britney, our waitress, was very attentive and kind. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis to this location."

"I met friends at Kulurah for lunch. Staff was inviting, food delicious and came out quickly fresh and hot. My family also met at Kulurah for a dinner after my granddaughter,s dance recital. So I was definitely going back with friends. Great food and service!!"

"Since moving to the area, we had heard that this restaurant was a ‘must try.’ Absolutely spot on recommendation! We went on a Friday at lunch time. It was busy but we were seated much quicker than expected. We were told to “come hungry” so we did, and decided to go straight for the main courses. We got the fried chicken red beans and rice and the Natchitoches meat pie. Absolutely excellent choices. Another review said “best red beans and rice I’ve ever had” and they truly were. So much flavor to them. The fried chicken was just divine; not too much breading but thick enough on the inside to be moist though well-cooked. The meat pie was also superb, not too salty, so flavorful. We got the brussels sprouts and they were easily the best restaurant brussels sprouts we’ve had. Even the side salad with the house pepper vinaigrette was good; very fresh mixed greens. We finished with a coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie. The coconut was definitely lighter, the chocolate more rich. To agree with another review, yes there was quite a bit of whipped cream on the tops of them. I will post a photo for reference. Great service as well, we will be back."

"This is my second time while in the city coming here. This time, I brought a group of friends while traveling since my first experience was absolutely great. Let me mention this, the first visit was precovid and we were easily accommodated on the patio for a group of 18. One of the best experiences I?ve had with a large party. This time, I had a group of 8, and our server was great! Some things we had to ask another for our differently, but easily accommodated. There was not a person in our party that didn?t like their meal. We came for brunch and as Mexican brunch was unique and different to me, I was greatly intrigued and pleased! The band performance was wonderful! While it was appropriate for all, it was also genre and culture inclusive with the wide selection of songs! Try the frozen mimosa! It was a HIT! Each of us ordered one. They didn?t skimp on the spirit, but still had this consistency to make it frozen. Not sure how they did it, but I?ve never had one nor seen that idea elsewhere and loved it. We?d definitely return!"
