"Lovely, small (emphasis on small no hostess, you just try and find an available table; we had a small wait, but no issue) place run by a charming bunch of folks. If there was a good diner in Mayberry, it would be like this. We went both days we were in Dahlonega, nothing disappointed, but the baked goods were the standout. Their Hummingbird cake and Peanut Butter cookies were as good as any I have ever had. We stopped in on our way out of town and bought 6 more cookies for the road no regrets."

Loved the warmth of this little backery/Cafe. Very efficiently operated. Casual atmosphere, and everything we ordered was delicious!

Fantastic lunch, my wife had the tomato bisque plate and I had a half sandwich/soup lunch deal. The sandwich was pimento cheese/bacon/lettuce, lightly toasted. The soup was a spicy chicken/white bean chili, tasty and mildly spicy at best. Loved the visit.

"Today was our first night, the Foothill Grill tried. The main rib was one of the best we ever had. The fried shrimps were amazing, like all the ducks we had ordered. The fried pickles are a must!! I'm always happy to come back. Great place!!!"

"We had a great experience at Shenanigans 10/13/2023. We've been there numerous times before, but last nights visit stood out. We used the yelp check in feature to join the waitlist thinking this would reserve a table. We got to the restaurant checked in and the host said it would be a few minutes. We waited unfortunately nearly 40 minutes (this was after we had checked in with yelp 20 minutes prior). Long story short, we had plans that evening to see a show at the planetarium and our dinner would probably had just been appetizers if it weren't for the incredible staff! Our server (can't remember her name) was SO kind and expedited our food and drinks. The GM, Tony went above and beyond and personally looked into the issue and really took the time to help us. The food of course was excellent, but the service was exceptional! We really were taken care of in every way. We made the show no problem thanks to their amazing efforts! I want to say thank you guys so much again for your help in making our evening!! Thank you!! "Some other places. Shows the best place for food and drinks. I wish we had come here first so we could have come back before we had to leave the city. We had the Mac and Cheese app, Southern chicken sandwich and mushroom Swiss burgers, all were great and we had fast service."

"The hotel has an excellent location, situated close to the town center while still being in a quiet area. The rooms are spacious and have been recently renovated, smelling fresh and new. Our check-in process was smooth, and we found parking conveniently right outside our door. The bathroom is large and well-equipped. On the downside, the bed mattress felt unstable and uncomfortable, and the pillows weren’t particularly cozy either, as they had synthetic filling. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the quality of sleep could be improved. Additionally, keep in mind that the hotel restaurant closes early for dinner, around 8 PM."
