"Basa fish was lukewarm kind of shrimp taste. Plate was warm fries were cooked to perfection. Shrimp tasted off today. Hush puppies full of grease. Crawfish Half cold half hot as if they have been sitting out all day. Crab cake was a crab cake patty burger thing over cooked. Sweet potato fries were cold. Managers did not take my concern as being a real Concern. Just a person that spent money. Customers help keep you going. Complaints help us strengthen our experiences. My husband and I stopped by to try this place out for the first time today and we had the worst experience imaginable. Firstly let me start out by saying our server Ms. Debra was a sweetheart and very helpful but the food was cooked so hard until we could not eat it. We asked for it to be remade politely but the Owner of the establishment told us that he would remake only the chicken because it was indeed burnt and they tried to hide it under the Alfredo. "This was by far one of the best restaurants we visited (my wife and I) on our vacation, the service was great, the food was excellent, all we tried was absolutely delicious. Our bartender Debbie was great, she needs the time to do it right, my personal favorite was the cancer corn-chowder, it's so delicious! Really beloved Pier 51."

"I had a wonderful experience at this charming and peaceful little restaurant. I started with the soup of the day, which featured finely diced tomatoes and had an excellent flavor, beautifully presented. It wasn't overly rich with heavy cream, which I appreciated, though it was on the salty side—something I personally enjoy, but others might find it a bit excessive. For my main course, I tried the Petra pasta, which was generously loaded with seafood, paired with a cream sauce that might be considered slightly excessive, but I loved it. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the portion size was very generous. The waitress was polite and attentive, maintaining just the right distance to ensure I felt looked after without being intrusive. The surrounding shopping plaza may not be the most picturesque, but this restaurant is definitely worth a visit."

I’m from Texas, so fake Mexican store bought/prepackaged/frozen food is easily detected.
