"after a few months from the reservation we finally arrived in schloss Blickstein. already the arrival from the parking lot gives a very nice view of the castle. the multilingual greeting (we spoke Italian, English and German). was very nice and the aperitif on the terrace. the first interesting and tasting surprises. we took the complete menu (5 courses with accompanying weeping (the men and non-alcoholic menu (the women) also an interesting and unique suggestion. the proposed weine were very unique and also an interesting discovery. the quality, variety, fantasy in each plate was exceptional from beginning to end. the rim between each plate perfect as well as the service. Andreas caminada came to our table and we had a nice conversation with a few sweating. an experience to do at least once in a life"

"The hotel is just marvelous. I have been coming here to eat out during the holidays since I was very little and always enjoyed the atmosphere here. Now, for the first time, I stayed overnight. The service was amazing, the staff went over the top with making us feel special, warmly welcomed but yet keeping Swiss discreteness. The breakfast buffet was so good and had a big variety I ate too much the Covid measures are perfectly looked after, without noticing too much. If ever I will conduct a seminar, I know now where to go in Switzerland. A family led hotel which is definitely worth a visit."

"If you are worried that a meal at Schauenstein is too much for you (you shouldn’t), check out its little brother restaurant and enjoy the delicious dishes in a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. But downplaying Casa Caminada as a prequel to Schauenstein doesn’t do it justice. We really enjoyed the lunch and the very friendly staff as all tables inside were taken and they set one for us outside. If you are visiting Casa Caminada you should try the freshly baked bread"
